Driver of the day should not have been lewis should have been fissi great drive.

Cheers ITV yet again not showing all the post race interviews. They should spend less time talking and showing what is on next week and more time on what we want to see and hear.

I am glad that Kovy should be ok.

Yep, good race for Kimi. Glad to see him on top step of the podium again. Everyone here was saying that since Bahrain, Spain and Turkey were the races Massa won last year, that he should do it again, so good that Kimi shut them up. And even though Massa is catching up in the points with the others, the difference to Kimi is back to 11 points again, which is good. Let's hope Kimi can open up to 20 by the middle of the season :)

Crazy race otherwise...a bit unexpected for Barcelona. Good moves by Heidfeld and Coulthard. Nasty accident by Heikki and I hope he is ok. Hate when we have bad crashes like that.

What was that earlier about Piquet being "more than waste matter" ...? ;) I guessed he proved the true extent of his "talent" yet again in this race.

Ferrari have got everyone else in the palm of their hand this year I reckon. That gap will only get bigger. I was a bit surprised, actually, that BMW Sauber hadn't made more progress.

Hehe, the whole PC was on the web-stream - they even showed the drivers speaking in their own languages. Clearly just the standard official feed.

Digital went down here, so I watched the race through Sky.

Im my opinion, Piquet doesn't belong in F1 and should be replaced sooner than later. Yeah he's a rookie but he's making a lot of unforced errors and costing Renault valuable points which, with the midfield being so close, they really need. Also, these mirrors need to be sorted out quickly. It's getting dangerous now with people not being able to see behind them properly and just turning in on someone behind them cos they can't see them.

I just hope Heikki is alright and can race in Turkey :) but Kubica had concussion from Canada last year and even though he was fine, the medical team wouldn't let him race. I guess we'll have to see. It looked like a nasty accident and when I saw the hole in the front of the car I immediately thought "broken legs". Lucky guy to have them both intact :)

that was a one week break though, we have two weeks to turkey, so he should be fine

yes, i agree with you about piquet jr., he could have done with one more year in GP2, the same could possibly be said for nakajima - although he's managed to be lucky at least and pick up points at the races of high attrition, unlike DC and Glock

No, 2005 was Jordan's last year.

No it wasn't. They were not 'Jordan' in 2005, they were operated by Midland but ran under the Jordan name and colour scheme.

From Wikipedia:

In early 2005, the team was sold to Midland Group, who competed for one final season as 'Jordan', before renaming the team as MF1 Racing for the 2006 season, before being sold later in 2006 to Dutch car manufacturer Spyker Cars to become Spyker F1 for 2007, and then sold again to become Force India in 2008.

The question should be asked why the car broken like that, but was it still together when it crashed and only split away when they pulled the car out?

IMHO... Bullshit, it was Bourdais to blame for, he's a twat... It's easy for him now to blame the mirrors for it, so why he didnt complained about them before? hypocritical, Piquet had the right to overtake and he did so... ofc he didnt expected bourdais to shut the door on him... the rookie is the STR driver not the Renault driver. These wide mirrors need to be banned. Quickly. Or it will be used as an excuse to shut the door on other drivers.

Piquet will prove hes worth a F1 seat, at this moment hes worth than some idiots that are in F1 atm (Bourdais, Sutil, DC, Nakajima...)

I dont get why people is willing to see him being replaced when its not his fault that he had two broken gearboxes and a twat closing the door on him. He's working hard and he's doing his work. Q3 last saturday proved me right. But by your logic, Sutil, Vettel, DC, Glock should be replaced too then. Bollocks... wtf was sutil doing when he put an end to vettel's third attempt to finish a race without being punted off?

And... LMAO... LMAO... and LMAO... to Jenson's teammate. As usual, he sucked and Jenson drove a faultless race to score points! Ace :D
