Don't want to "scare" anyone but things look quite bad for tomorrow, according to Accuweather (http://www.accuweather.com/world-forecast-details.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&locCode=ASI|CN|CH024|SHANGHAI&metric=1&fday=2) the wind gusts due to the typhoon can go up to 135km/h :o If this prediction is confirmed tomorrow I very much doubt there will be a race at all. :(

Like I pretty much said in my last post, if you can't be bothered to read it it said, 90 percent chance of thunderstorms and it will be very windy.

It better not be canceled, I'm not getting up at stupid o'clock for nothing twice in a row.

I won't care if it's raining or delayed. I'll be doing what I do for every race. Record it live, and then start watching it whenever I wake up (or for European events, when I can be bothered). Chances are I'll begin the coverage at about 7:45 to 8:00, skip most of the pre-race anal sex, skip the adverts, and finish the race about the same time as everyone else, only having wasted less of my life doing so. :P

The only reason I'll care if the race is abandoned altogether is because it'll be rather anti-climatic to see Hamilton being crowned champion without actually having driven. If the weather's too severe then then they can always delay it in 15min increments, and even move the race to the Monday. Bernie wouldn't be happy mind.

Good one :p

Hmmm, I doubt the race will be cancelled, most likley delayed, BUT I do not want them, ITV to put in on another channel, because I only have ITV1 here.

Atleast our tv channel (with people like Mika Salo, Keijo Rosberg, and few "experts";) keeps spreading those. Sometimes those are really accurate but sometimes not so right. Specially Kimis pit-stops they tell to be always later than others (even smaller amount of pit-stops) to give more value for his qualifying results.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

i doubt Alonso is 2-4 laps heavier than Hamilton, especially given his reaction

indeed but this time these tactics are made by experts like LUIS VASCONCELOS and PAOLO FILISETTI and these are usually very accurate..but maybe tomorrow tactics will be messed up because of the rain.

Right, lets hope for an awesome race tomorrow.

Would love to see Hamilton crowned, hopefully on merit rather than controversy. But a good, clean race is what I wanna see :D

Yep you heard that very good, sounds interesting to see what happens tomorrow. Did Renault gambled on wet setup today in qualifying ? If so they will be strong when the storms gets over the track :-)

I've noticed that there were some inquiries about Vettel incident so here's the info :

"Toro Rosso's Sebastian Vettel managed to escape a 10 place grid demotion penalty but now he's got a five place one instead. Stewards at Shanghai ruled that the German had impeded another driver (Renault's Heikki Kovalainen) during qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix and gave him half his original penalty back again.

It's another blow for Toro Rosso, which had its best dry qualifying session of the season on Saturday with Tonio Liuzzi 11th and Vettel 12th. With the five place drop Vettel, whose 10 place demotion for crashing into Mark Webber's Red Bull at Fuji was retracted, will now have to start from 17th.

Beleaguered Toro Rosso will go to appeal next week to try and overturn the 25 second time penalty given to Liuzzi after Fuji for allegedly overtaking under yellow flags. Liuzzi lost eighth place and one point because of it. The team also faces arbitration from Spyker in regard to the customer car debate."

I'm not sure what happened to Alonso but I'm quite sure that Lewis is at least 3 or 4 laps lighter than Kimi. I really doubt Hamilton could've improved all that for Q3. Kimi's pace this weekend has been out of this world.
