it was a good session as the top 5 teams were in it with them all going for times 1st time this year i think its happened.

I think fissi and pedro are 1 stopping with the rest 2 there is no way they could do them times with 1 stop fuel.

I think its going to be a good race but i think michelin have the advantage proof of that is ferrari being the only one of their teams in the top 10. Ferrari will have to be careful over the 1st few laps and the bmw does make good starts as well so i think nick could well pass ms into the 1st corner alonso is in prime position to get shunted he will need to watch it big time

I doubt that Ferrari have got more fuel than the others because the low fuel qualy times were so similar as well.
Should be a good race and hopefully Kimi will have no problems for a change.
That was one nice qualifying and it made me jump out of my seat when Kimi took the Pole... Marvelous!
Also a nice performance from Nick there

PS: Well someone mentioned that he hoped that it could be the third win of someone else than Alonso or Schumacher in a row... Well if one would follow continueity Nick Heidfeld would have to win, as it would the third maiden win in a row. Although I would be happy if he won, I doubt it would happen. So I place my bet on the Iceman.

yes i think ferrari are a bit shocked as last week in the test they had an advantage.

I still expect them to win tomorrow though alot is going to depend on the start, if ms gets in the top 3 we will know his plans str8 after the race i think.

ron was very good he so could just say kimi is leaving but he did not unless we are all in for a shock.

How do u ferrari fans feel do u want kimi or not as a lot of people at monza dont seem to want him. For me them 2 laps in quali by kimi were for the people at monza he pulled it out the bag.

alonso could loose his quali time as massa has complained at being blocked i dont see what alonso could have done he needed to get his time in, and massa was never really that close

The RPM limit should help them.

good job by Kimi there, from nowhere it seems.

@ Marc, to answer your question, yes i would like Kimi at Ferrari, either alongside MS or Massa if MS retires. while i support MS the most, i like Kimi a lot also. when MS does go, my allegiance will be fully with Kimi, but even if they were together next year, i'd support both of them, instead of just MS as it has been for all these years.

Good qualifying, annoyed as hell that kimi took pole but makes the race good. I'm hoping heidfeld manages to stay in the mix and gets between michael and alonso at the end. If Fisi isn't on a much heavier fuel load then Ferrari look like they should take a huge step towards the constructors title tomorrow

@Marc, as a life long Ferrari fan I'm unsure on Kimi coming to the team. His driving ability is excellent and all that but I have real problems getting behind a guy who doesn't seem happy when he does well or wins a race, I like to see people enjoying what they do. Would love to see Kimi and Michael next year, but I've liked Massa since he started and he's doing well at the moment

"what do you mean? reliability?"

Yea, they are well capable of producing world class rev-limited engines.

Oyeaaaah, Schumacher HAS to catch up this race. Alonso will probebly finish in like 4th MAX. So if Schummi wins he can make up five, six, or maybe even seven points :D

Massa - 26.6 27.5 27.3
Kimi 26.6 27.3 27.4
MS 26.7 27.4 27.2
Heidfeld 26.6 27.6 27.3

Blatently no major loss of time in any sector.
