Magny Cours Grand Prix ***SPOILERS***

Is it too much to ask for a Magny corker? Not with a championship so delicately poised after Montreal. Ferrari may be the favourite on paper, but BMW are becoming a force to be reckoned with, albeit with good luck. McLaren will be twitching (dreaming) to take back 2nd place in the Constructors championship. Meanwhile the drivers championship is becoming a log jam. Throw in a 10 place penalty for Hamilton and Rosberg and with Red Bull on the march in qualifying, well, this will surely be a good one.

Guess it will be ferrari, always strong there. But the last few races were quite unpredictable, so I am not to sure. ;)

this year's going quite similar to last year, in terms of ferrari vs. mclaren, so i'm expecting a strong ferrari result. however, bmw have momentum, so they could spring a surprise.

Ferrari will win here last year no one was close and they have won 7 out of 10 races here.

The only thing that could stop them is rain and its meant to be wet on Sunday.

It's not meant to be wet Sunday, only 40% chance of rain. I doubt it'll be raining. Ferrari will win and if not, BMW will win again. I can't see McLaren winning this weekend.

Marc, stop talking about rain. Nick will start to dream about it again and make Ferrari lose ;)

I would say Ferrari too win on paper, i fancy Kubica being right up there though, and a good charge from Hamilton :)

I don't care what happens, as long as it finishes with Alonso, Rosberg, Massa, Raikkonen, Heidfeld and Kovalainen in the top six. My gridbids drivers keep on crashing at the moment.

Assuming we get a normal race, I can't see this being anything other than a Ferrari 1-2, with maybe Kubica splitting the Ferrari's.

About the quali...
What will happen if Lewis got into Q3. He will drive with race fuel onboard and will start between 11th (at best) and 20th (at worst). Will he be able to adjust his fuel load?
And about the 11th driver of Q2. He will drive with low fuel and with Hamilton's penalty he will start 10th. Will he be able to adjust fuel load?

I'm not entirely sure but if I had to guess Hamilton wont be able to adjust his fuel otherwise he would fuel himself extra light for Q3 to secure P1 (P11) and then fuel up to a more sensible race strategy from there. I also think the driver in 11th will still be able to adjust his fuel load as he wont have had to set his fuel amount for Q3 since he wasn't in it.

If you get into Q3 you need to drive with the fuel you will race with, you can only adjust your fuel if you are qualified 11th to 20th, if you qualify yourself 8th and then get a 10 place penalty your officialy still qualified 8th, so you cant adjust your fuel then.

interesting looks like Massa is testing how car works with 3 stops and Kimi how it works with 2 stops ...will see what kind of tactics they will use in quali/race.

Mclaren look quite bad at the moment the drivers looked all over the place locking brakes going off etc.

If lewis gets into quali 3 he can not adjust the fuel load.

The cars all look close so its going to be hard for him anyway just to get some points.

Mclaren will probably put him on a long 2 stop race.

I can not see why ferrari would even look at a 3 stop race they will be starting at the front there is no point 2 stop is the way to go in france. Massa just looked more hooked up than kimi who seemed to be having understeer.

i wouldnt say that too fast, clearly you dont remember 2004, when schumacher did a 4 stop ;-) so a 3 stop is certainly a possibility.
