Grand Prix 3 must admit I've never worked with the sw jams in gp3 except for converting
the helmet jams, I didn't realise some of the sw jams were different dimensions, that does make things more difficult, but the way to convert the bitmaps to sw is the same.
the sw jams in gp32k are the same palette as gp3, I use jamtool 2000 for
all the hw stuff and jam edit 0.52b for jips and sw helmets.

Grand Prix 3 I can give you method for psp
extract a sw jam bitmap load into psp and save the palette
the best method is then to reduce bitmap you want converting to sw to 256 colours, then load the saved palette
a quicker method is to just load the palette but the results are not always as good

Grand Prix 3 the jams can't be used with gp3 edit as they're double the size, the sw
versions are very rough convertions and just included so the hw are jams show in game.

Grand Prix 3 sorry the link was bad, it's under gp4 editors/utils @ www.grandprixgames.org.
the patch doesn't alter the physics, all it does is use the performance file
values for the player grip rather than the default grip that you're always
stuck with, makes overtaking harder too.

Grand Prix 4 hi gabriele,
no both splits are fine with gp32k, the only message I get with
verbosity high, is that there's bridged fences <3 sectors, which as you
know is unavoidable, must be a gp3 1.13 problem.

Grand Prix 3 there's are grip patch included in belini gp4 career, it removes the player
default grip (16384) enabling the player to drive with the grip levels
from the performance text files.

Grand Prix 4 hi jm,
split #1 should be just after the mobil bridge, the second line is the
speed trap line, maybe you should ask rene if he's any idea what the problem is.

Grand Prix 3 re: magny sector points
sounds like a gpxpatch problem, in fact I've had problems too but nowhere near as severe
as the splits being at the end of the track, it's usually @ sector 2 that gpxpatch has problems
reading the sector point.
the 2nd split point @ interlagos isn't accurate because of this problem, it's as close as I could
get it though to the split point line, the

Grand Prix 3 not sure if the tracks will work with gp3, I seem to remember that
gp3 is more limited in track editing than gp32k, all the belini tracks
are on the limit of gp32k capabilities due to the complexity of the
gp4 dats.

Grand Prix 3 hi all,

Grand Prix 3 not sure which language gp2ksnd4.dat is for, gp2ksnd0.dat is for english.
to stop corruption you need back up gp2ksnd0.dat, replace sound id 0 first,
then save, open gp2ksnd0.dat in a hex editor and copy/paste lines 10 to
450 from the original gp2ksnd0.dat back into the edited version, this will
restore all the pit messages.
sound id 30 the engine limiter sound I've never had any luck r

Grand Prix 3 Any hope for a 1976-1987 Brands Hatch?
would mean him redoing the CC-line abot 50% of the work, so i very much doubt it, wish we could get one though
brands has always been one of my favourite tracks, the line wouldn't take that long to do, but once you alter the track then there's usually a ton of other related problems, there's only a certain amount of time I have to do this, c

Grand Prix 3 re:Dinga
me pissed off, noooo....
the reason why I stopped making tracks after gp2 was that I was more interested in working on removing all the default values in gpx, especially those to do with multi-play (I used to do a lot of eracing), now I've cracked them all (except tyres) it's back to track building.

Grand Prix 3 the po is higher than gp4 on my machine, it's all the banking commands in every sector that cause the problem, but I decided to leave them in because it's this fine detail that make the gp4 tracks so good.
I am working on hockenheim at the moment but it's going to take a very long time as gp3 is on the limit for track commands, especially scenery commands (as was interlagos), but

Grand Prix 3 make sure you run gpxpatch in debug mode, all versions will run in any slot.
sometimes you get very big po, but I found that once you drive one lap the po returns to a better rate.
grab it today as the belini site will be closed tuesday until further notice.

Grand Prix 4 most of the problems arise from the player using default grip/bhp, the default
grip in gp3/gp4 is 16384 so any AI that has less grip is going to be easy to
overtake.
below is a link to a beta patch, the patch enables the player to use the grip
from performance files, the only downside is that the tracks magic data has to
be programmed differently to achieve a useable result.
the patch is for te

Grand Prix 3 if you change (ai error) desc65 to 0 in the tracks magic data it should
help, what makes the AI a lot more stable is to decrease the effect of
slipstreaming, at the moment the only way to do this a combination
of altering the tracks magic data and changing the cars physics, but
it does seem to work.

Grand Prix 3 bhp has a random factor every time you leave the pits, all levels below pro give a lower bhp than the patched value.

Grand Prix 4 you're right about the physics, the car will always be perfectly balanced.
but with less grip it's defiantly harder to drive especially on full tanks
and the player no longer has the grip advantage over the Ai so overtaking
is a lot harder.
without the patch the player always has 16384 grip whatever team driven,
hence why you're putting a minardi in the middle of the grid, once
