Grand Prix 3 the server is used for other things so I only have room for 2 tracks, I've requested
a login so I can upload to grandprixgames but I've had no reply.
please don't request any tracks by email as I'm fed up with a lot of them
bouncing back.
if you wish to download malbourne please do so soon as sakhir should be
released next week.

Grand Prix 3 desc74=timing factor? (dw)
the only thing I know for certain is that it's used for calculating multiplay
turns and fuel, but it does have other effects on the way the game runs.
1m 18.201 = 78201

you can program the magic to work with the belini patch and physics, but
some things are different
desc51=added to car.field_108.

Grand Prix 3 that does sound like a line problem if they're going off on there own but if
you've made the grip too low that will also contribute.
desc42=track grip
values below 16000 and above 18500 cause problems
desc51=added to car.field_108. related to cc grip factor desc52
basically AI grip/cornering ability values shouldn't be
lower than 64512 maximum=0 (65536)
desc52=grip?

Grand Prix 3 there's no misunderstanding, most of the magic in gp4 is the same as gp3 anyway.
of those tracks mentioned I only have the gp32k indy original, desc65 @ zero
as you can see, one DNF at indy, and the suzuka I'm building at the moment had
no DNF's.
I'm probably getting better results as I did the tests running the belini grip
patch which does make it harder for the AI

Grand Prix 3 desc65=some chance. same chance multiplied with race perc.
this is AI error, I had always thought that it maybe connected to the AI crashing out
in gp3, this was confirmed to me when I was so pissed off at all the crashes at suzuka
in gp4 I tried changing it to zero and it solved the problem, no crashes.
I've never had any problems setting desc65 to zero, so it's strange the pr

Grand Prix 3 the problem will be sound related, when I was running gp4 I decreased the po by 20% by just updating the sblive drivers, your problem sounds bad as there
should only be around 15% to 20% difference between the 2 sound modes, if you
have an onboard sound card this maybe the cause of the ultra-hi po, updating
the drivers may help

Grand Prix 3 sorry guys, suzuka and sakhir will be for gp3 2000 only, both file sizes are already greater than the track.dat limit for gp3.
hockenheim maybe, I think the gp3 track.dat limit is 146k, 2002 is only 155k, so maybe gap will be able to do something with it.

Grand Prix 3 I seem to remember in gp2 the player view was camera #1.
you could try this:
make a copy of your exe, then change a value for camera #2 and patch the exe.
if you then compare both exe in a hex editor, with a bit of luck you'll find
the data for player view (camera#1).
by
belini
-
Grand Prix 3 I don't have any way of finding out where these values would be in the gp3 1.13 exe, wasn't there a camera editor for gp3?

Grand Prix 3 I changed the driver camera view
lowering from 28 to 20 and moving the camera forward from -20 to 0, the patch checks that it's a gp32k exe before patching so you wouldn't do any damage.

Grand Prix 3 I think we'll have to agree to disagree on the kerbs.
interlagos and gps:
the first thing I check is the length when creating tracks and the first thing
that struck me about the gp4 tracks was the width, but when you look at the
track from the tv view they look good, then there's all the data for
width/banking, why bother to hire a company to gps the tracks if the results
aren't

Grand Prix 3 hmm... forgot about the americas, though I do have a couple of friends in the
states that run gp32k.
once you take gp4 tracks apart it becomes obvious that they're special, I can
assure you they are very different with no 2 sectors the same, gp3/gp32k
original tracks are plain in comparison.
I don't understand why you think gp32k is hard to edit, it isn't.
the gp4 tracks are

Grand Prix 3 the gp4 tracks are the closest you're going to get to the real thing, they may
look almost identical in an editor to the gp3 tracks, but it's the subtleties
that make them feel so special to drive.
if you don't fancy removing some objects you could try buying gp3 2000, it
was always a better product than gp3 and is far closer to gp4 than people
realise.

Grand Prix 3 the track limit is around 8km for all gpx versions, I think the only reason
the dats have a larger capacity is to accomodate the extra objects in
gp32k.
one of the reasons melbourne is so large is the amount of complex
objects about 7 or 8 bridges and 17 stands, remove these and it may work
in gp3.

Grand Prix 3 belini tracks are for gp32k, gabriele converted magny 2003 to gp3 but I don't know where this can be downloaded from, melbourne maybe useable for gp3 but most of the objects will need to be removed and gp3 magic data inserted.
