Hopefully it works with TrackIR. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Windows Control Panel? If so just calibrate and go (unless your wheel like mine Autocalibrates). In game control panel?...the control file I posted should set the proper Axis in GP4, you will have to calibrate. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Here is my control file for Logitech Driving Force GP Wheel. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
I have to hold the brakes while at starting line until the lights go green. Otherwise the car creeps ever so slightly, but I don't get a false start penalty. I guess that is realistic, but never seen it do this before even as far back as when I played it on Win98. Before you could just stand on the gas, when lights turned, it would just go. I guess it could have something to do with myby noncon - Grand Prix 4

Same here on W7 64, I just kept clicking Yes, to Calibrate. After awhile the message went away, not sure why. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
I'm at the start line, engine revs screaming until the lights turn green. Then bam, the car drops to idle...everyone flys past me. I don't get full revs again until perhaps 5 seconds after lights turn green. I've tried multiple tracks. Driving aids on/off, same problem. No rev problems during testing, only at race start. Anyone? KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Yep that was it. Geez, I'm so use to GPxPatch/CSM/GP4 Tweeker, never thought to look in GP4 itself. Thanks! KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
I used to have mine set to 45 minutes. Anyone remember where to set this? Thanks! KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Yeah I seen it. My biggest problem with the rain is the dry-line. CC cars are like slot cars, they won't deviate from the line, it like dry pavement for them. For me, not so much. I only race in the dry for the most part. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Wow. Fantastic. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Mortal/Bigbrother thanks! Removing the files from the folder wadcache seems to have worked. It rebuilt a new cars.wad from the Data\Cars folders, sure it is crashing without my old cars.wad there, but I can figure that one out, probably a missing texture. Thanks again KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
The cars.wad in the GP4 directory I found out, always have to be a clean one. The one in the Data\Wadcache folder is the one I update, and when CSM starts, it moves this one to the GP4 directory. Everything in the \Data\Cars folder never moves, when starting CSM or after restoring. I did notice when starting CSM, there is a mention about manual wad additions. Perhaps I did someby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Yeah I went through this when I made the switch to Win 7 64, now everything runs great, even with CSM. Try unplugging your joystick/wheel then starting it. I found this to be a big problem for me, at first it was a calibration issue upon first run, then I just finally purchased another wheel. Make sure you start it using GPxPatch. I run mine in Win XP SP 3 Compatibility and of coursby noncon - Grand Prix 4
I noticed in the \Data\Cars folder in CSM there are car shapes and texture files. But when I load CSM, it loads my cars.wad file in the Data\Wadcache folder, which I have been updating with new cars. How do I get CSM to use the files in the data\cars folder? It would be easier to update these folder, instead of the cars.wad file. I wish there was full documentation for CSM so many optioby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Use Gp4 Editor, open the performance file and increase AI car performance as needed. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
In T-Cam view, I use to be able to use the keyboard to might slight adjustments, (left/right etc), now it is not working anymore. I thought there was a keybind for this, looked in keys.ini (GPxPatch) but found no entry. Any ideas? KJ Nevermind it was in the CSM GP4 Tweaker Real Time settings, I had it turned off.by noncon - Grand Prix 4
The below sections in Red never show up in a Race, only the sessions prior to race. I know you can filter by session, but I left the sessions blank which should mean show in all session. Finally, sometimes I can get it to show in a Race but only if I don't change the driver name that is already selected when it loads. If I select another driver, nothing shows up in a rby noncon - Grand Prix 4

Create a new user profile in Windows XP and try it there. If it works, you like I did, missed a key in the registry. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
I haven't seen one for GP4, so I hope someone can help you with your, I'd like to see it. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Thank you, nice job. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4

See items in RED. Where are these items located, I don't want them on the screen. I thought I could disable in GpxCInfo, but I don't see these items there. Thanks! KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
I thought those were the drivers I had installed....maybe not, because now it is working fine. Thank you so much! I'm off to try and get CSM working again. Thanks again! KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Yep, 9.6 patch. The pedals are the Logitech Wingman (USB) and I can't get them to work with GP4 while plugged in. Logitech basically said that wheel is well over 8 years old and lots have changed in the USB world since it was released. They didn't seem too surprised I was having issues with it in Win7 64. they really had to hack the drivers just to get it to barely function in W7. Iby noncon - Grand Prix 4
This may help someone who comes here because they can't get the game to work in Windows 7 64bit. There are plenty instructions here to get the game to work in Windows 7 (full install, 9.4 patch, decrypted.exe etc etc) I did all those and it still did not work, just a black screen, where I had to kill the process. It is only when I unplugged my Logitech pedals and wheel that the game staby noncon - Grand Prix 4
