yea i had that problem a short while ago
try putting original wads in gp4 directory
also make sure you have installed the 9.6 patch for gp4 and have downloaded and installed nocd exe from gp4db.com
hope this helps:)

I've the same problem. I tried several things like deleting the registry keys and downloading it again, but nothing worked. Old versions also dont work. Can someone help me?

Did you try to launch the program under Windows XP/or 98 compatibility mode? (click-right on Teameditor - properties - compatibility...)

Is GP4 Builder working ? (you could try to open a carshape for example)

Yes, it works.

Hmm, it's most probably not 3D related then (Opengl, drivers...)
Maybe something with main GP4.exe state. Can you try to replace your actual exe by a fresh nocd one ? (make a temp copy of yours)

Same problem. If I remember it right, the problem started after a team editor crash.

I don't know then, You can try to download Teameditor again (in case program exe was broken) or try to reinstall your GP4 (from fresh CD installation and no mod but nocd).

I don't think that it is a problem with my GP4 installation. I tried a new exe without success.

@Jürgen: Yes, I tried it.
@nhorry: If you mean that I should delete the registry keys I already did it, like said before.

when you uninstall gp4 ,make sure you delete whats left of the directory also in the programs folder.
lots of files don't get over written by a new install.......

uninstall grand prix 4
delete the registry entry for l02k tools...
same for infrogames + patch.....
then the grand prix 4 folder on hard drive......
re boot & reinstall gp4 + offical patch....then your exe...
try team editor then.........

if no.....take you pc outside & shoot it................

Hopefully I didn't suggest to re-install Windows. it would have been a waste of time :p

Create a new user profile in Windows XP and try it there. If it works, you like I did, missed a key in the registry.

Maybe this other user experience could help (and it gives the right registry key to delete).

I tried it with the guest profile and it worked, but it wanted me to choose the GP4 Folder/exe, I choosed it and it asked again for the folder/exe and again..
