I live in Canada Ralv :)

I was wondering are we going to start a new " I got the game thread" or just keep everything in here?

It does take a while for the rear wings to fall off (or the lack of) when some one hits the wall horrendously. Surely it should be sensitive enough to enjoy the game and make it more in line with the real world. If it's the license that's screwing it up then gah wtf bernie!

following some of the threads over at the codemasters forums, this is often brought up

Its hard to tell as there have been so many vids posted in different modes, but from what ive read the damage is quite extensive, you can get end plates breaking off and various elements damaged/broken off

Rear wing damage has been included in varying forms, inc coming off if shunted hard enough as well as limited damage you can still manage

proof will be in the pudding come Friday

iRacers wont like it if there expecting that level of physics but its gonna be good enough for the serious gamer ( not hardcore) and thats good for me

Indeed. It's all a bit baffling. Anyone remember the damage model from CART Racing? It's not that hard to do. Although I do think that all the shrapnel we have in this one looks cool.

$110 Here in Australia!
Ergh. I'll still get it though.

Probably on PS3. Just for the fun and ease of being able to play it.

So this game seemed pretty perfect, until the nasty pitstop bug showed up. Disappointed, and it will definitely affect sales, at least until a patch is released. I won't get it until a patch for it is released. Anyone else feel the same?

Hopefully not too late in the day, it's a long way up to Moray. I hope it gets here on Friday. ShopTo.net customers should also take note it's recorded delivery, so a signature is required.

If you pit with say 5 other cars, no matter how far behind in the pits they are to you, you have to let them past before you can exit the pits. One way to avoid this is to pit later or earlier, but why change your strategy because of a bug in the game?
