Xbox 360 or Playstation 3?

I just can't decide which one to get! Got the Xbox 360, which atm seems to be good! Also got a Media Center Extender built in, big bonus for me :D or theres the Playstation 3 which also looks damn cool! Anyone else decided yet?

If I get one it'll definately be xbox360, ps3 is likely to be a lot more expensive and the only games that have been announced that i'm interested in are for the 360 (halo 3 and bioware are making a trilogy of RPGs)

ps3 as i still feel the ps2 is better than the xbox

I'm buying a PS3 purely for MGS4, but I want the Nintendo Revolution more.

doubt i'll get either, got all the games i need on my pc

damn forgot about MGS! damnit!

At the moment, it does seem the xbox360 is the better choice.


Not riduculously pricey at 280 quid, though that will drop, imo, to around 250 by febuary. Also, as a platform I suspect slightly superior - Sony have had issues getting all their lesser cores working correctly, and 3 cores has ot be easier than 8 +1 or whatever it is. Plus 8 of those cores aint hugely powerful, though they migh be able to handle sound and physics etc.

XBOX360 also looks tons better! And is out earlier

Though the XB360 will make a good gap filler in the mean time The basic package is only £209.99 on play.com.

yeah, but look at what you get ofr the extra money - wireless controllers, hard drive, xbox live subscription, dvd remote and some other stuff. IMO that adds up to more than the price difference, and also some game makers have said they will have to disable some content for those with the lesser pack, because of no hard disk, so I would only consider the better pack personally, for the full experience

Got to say one feature i'm not a fan of is the optional hard drive, just having a hard drive in all of them would make it much more likely that developers will take advantage of it.

Yeah the Premium package looks much better value for money imo

But yeah I agree,the premium package definitely gives you better value for money. I'd wait a few months though,the launch price is a bit too much for me. Maybe wait infact till the PS3 is also launched to get a real comparison between the two.

PGR3 is a definate, I was planning on getting Fifa (But since PES5 will be compatable there's no point). Was planning on getting Ghost Recon (Untill it was delayed till April). So maybe PDZ or Kameo as well.
