there are lots and lots of @#$%& games whatever platform you look at tbh.

I don't see why "arcade" games should stop anyone from getting a console, besides racing sims, I take non of my gaming that seriously.

besides racing sims i have time for a bit of pro evo and thats it, so no console for me in a hurry, plus my tv has a max resolution of 800x640 i think, which negates the power

that's what HDTV is for, and all new plasmas and lcd tvs support it, at least 480i, so you get awesome high res with full screen AA and AF, and HDR too

They're a bargain really for 280, though personally I'll be waiting a couple years I expect, as I always do, just a late adopter for some reason!

Does anyone here know, what is the interface of Xbox 360's harddisk? It's IDE isn't it? It would be cool to have 250 Gb harddrive in your console. 20 Gb HD costs 100$ (about 80

No, its a USB2.0 external one I think. Means they can just make a single 'box' for the console, then add the extras seperately.

Oh, I thought it's built-in one. But is it just a normal external HD?

I expect it must be. I mean obviously it'll have an xbox 360 like shell to it, but internally identical to any other USB2 HDD.

I figure if you were to buy all the bits you get extra in the £280 pack, for the cheaper one, it'd cost oyu more than the 280 anyway.

I live in Finland and we don't use pounds =) And I have 20 GB HD from my old PC. I just buy external HDD cover which costs 19

Someone said me in the IRC that you need some kind of adapter beetween HDD cable and box's connector.

Well, you can only use the official Xbox 360 Harddrive in the Xbox 360, no other type of hard drive.

Still looking for a HD Ready TV to get for it when its released!

What are lcd tvs usually? I know the dell is what, 16? But I bet 25 would be ok for tv, but gaming, hmmm. Disregard the sony, its ugly! Dell does look damn good though, hey.

Could always get a AV/VGA cable for it and use the PC input on the Dell :D As all PC monitors are High Definition anyway, should do the job!!
