me neither, i draw the limit at around £30 at an absolute top limit for 1:43 models, no matter what it is.

i used to have the Ralf 1st win model, but i hate the shape of the car, and i don't like Ralf much anyway. sold it ages ago on ebay. the best recent Williams shape was the FW25, the previous couple were a bit too boxy, and the FW22 was good.

I do indeed Paul, infact i bought a few FW26 related models simply because of the uniqueness of it.

The 1/12 scale nose cone

I also bought a FW26 steering wheel scale model

I bought 2 1:43 scale models, 1 was the BMW commisioned version and then one i modded with figures to make a pit stop diaorama

And i got a 1:18 scale version too

LS do you have any closeups of that 1:18 version? I just want to see how the detail varies compared to the 1:43 Minichamps counterparts.

cos he's a *&*@$^^@%£^!

i have that BMW-boxed FW26 too, LS.

look at these half-assed attempts to convert Ferrari's to Marlboro:

[cgi.ebay.co.uk]

[cgi.ebay.co.uk]

with both he hasn't bothered to remove the white paint from the engine cover before applying the large decal, and on one of them he's missed a few on the helmet, and also the top of the monocoque. he even sells so many decals, you'd think he'd know how to complete a full car properly and not just stick a few on where he feels like it.

and my massive '98 Jordan poster:

these are old pics though, no more posters on my wall now, had it all decorated last year.

thats a big poster! :D

but i have had bigger! you know roadside billboard adverts - well, my dad managed to blag from renault uk by a few telephone calls and such and got hold of an FW16 williams of damon hill advertising poster (might have been rothmans if it wasn't renault can't remember!).

Now this poster was so tall and wide it didnt even fit the wall and we had to chop a lot of it off - luckily the car JUST managed to fit in with breathing space.

I'm going to ask my mum/dad/brother to find a photo and scan it and email to me so I can hopefull show you guys! It was pretty unique!

(then mum and dad swapped rooms with my brother and I so we lost the shared room with damon hill on the wall. mum proceeded to literally paint over him in lilac. eugh, what a shame!)

edit: low and behold! google turned up results! this was the exact photo I'm pretty sure!

(the scale on the wall was slightly under 1:1)

:D magical!

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it
