cool.

another idiot who didn't bother to remove the white paint from the engine cover before applying the Marlboro decal, otherwise it looks like a good conversion: [cgi.ebay.co.uk]

oh and he hasn't added the nametag decal under the t-cam,you can see it's still the standard Ferrari shield and MS' name, instead of the Marlboro/Ferrari dual logo.

and Iceman-Kimi, look at this, same figure used again for MS' 75th win with a piece of his suit: [cgi.ebay.co.uk]

and the 66:66 model with Marlboro: [cgi.ebay.co.uk]

and look at this, 1:43 FW16 with Senna figure: [cgi.ebay.co.uk]

nice model byron, despite it's shitewheels ;)

trying to construct this fw26 is HIGHLY difficult when there isn't a tutorial!

talk about guess work, anyway i've kinda starting glueing the bigger parts (which probably isn't such a great move)

I am no expert but I think that the best move is that u should glue each part of the car separately (example: first the rearwing, then the frontwing... and so on) and once u have each part glued, u can mount them together... and ta-da... u glued a car!! :D

the decals aren't very well produced, where the white it overlaid on the blue (or vice versa) and aren't exactly in position, seen most clearly onthe S things on the corners of the sidepods. but the guy has bent Alonso's left arm up like a victory punch/wave.

i've seen many models from this seller, most are good and of high quality, it's just unfortunate the decals aren't very well made. the same problem happens with the Marlboro decals, especially the 1:43 ones, where the world Marlboro ir in slightly the wrong position relative to the red triangle logo.

it's quite good, the car look well-converted. but the painting is a bit off on those yellow/orange bits on his suit, they're meant to fade into the red. nice attempt though.

Grandprixlegends are a waste of time, in December 2005, i placed an order with them for 2 Williams Hondas 1:43 scale of Mansell & Piquet.

Day after boxing day ( still 2005 remember) i went to a collectors fair at Donington exibition centre and saw those 2 models that had just come out, i thought about buying them but then thought again after i'd already ordered them from Grandprixlegends.

Fast forward to January 2007 when last week i recieved an email from them informing that my Williams Hondas are still on order and they've been let down by their distributor.

What a crock!!

Last time i do business with them.

GPL does take a long time to get my order to get through when I ordered my 2005 Le Mans Aston Martin car, I didn't get it till a year later with an unexpected parcel arriving at my mum's house!

this is actually really handy info guys, i've often thought about ordering stuff off GPL but now i know to steer clear :)

wonderland models were fantastic, if a little short on the f1 range.
