it might be an official release, as it's actually the 2nd one i've seen on ebay, unless the same guy made both, or 2 people had the same idea, or 1 guy copied the 1st guy.

i don't get that chrome model... there's a driver sitting in the car, and one standing, holding a "real" helmet. wtf? and you get a smaller version of the real car too. :|

actually its a wanabe chromed F2005 with a chromed MS driving

then theres a 2nd MS chromed too holding normal MS helmet

and then theres a little F2003GA driven by a ''normal'' MS

ive yet to see a chrome F2005 anywhere.

there's a chrome f2004 - [cgi.ebay.ca]

and a chrome f2003ga, with the silver paint, which is why i compared it to the model muks posted - [cgi.ebay.ca]

both of which are official releases.

this one however doesnt really look like an official release, especially considering that small model on the side - [cgi.ebay.ca]

and seeing that its from a seller in china i wouldnt be surprised if its a custom model; ive seen a lot from there.

yeah i reckon it's a custom job too.

i think it looks vulgar.

i'd rather have that red shiny paint model with red MS figure, rather than an actual chrome car, be it an official release or custom.

i don't see why they would make the chrome car anyway, ferrari's have never been chrome so it makes no sense to make it like that.

it's definitely not the F2003, the little model has a midwing on the engine cover, which the F2003 doesn't have. it's either the F2004 or F2005.

see this, an F2002 from the 5 titles presentation, but converted to Marlboro and dubbed the "Brazil GP winner": [cgi.ebay.co.uk]

he's forgotten to add the 2 little piece of white decal on those little wing things on the engine cover, just where the main Marlboro white bit slopes up.

the guy who did this one did remember to add them: [cgi.ebay.co.uk]

front and rear wing done, and bodywork done

front wing attached to the bodywork

Little wings added at the sidepod

Car airbrushed in the good colours; only decals and suspension etc need to be attached

*NOTE CAR IS NOT BUILD BY ME, ONLY PROBERTY FOR ME! SO NO CREDIT TO ME!*

atm the car is done except decals, but there isnt a new photo availble yet.

where will he get the decals from? is he making them himself, or can the be bought from somewhere?

he is very skilled if he can do something like that, i wouldn't even dream of it.

he promised to anyone that he would make a ps05 for him to and that guy made instead of paying decals for him, but he can do it his self, you can see the models on this forum: www.tdmf.nl/forum but its dutch so i dont think you can understand much but if you wanna see his work press on ''Ombouw Specials'' and then press on a thread or something and you can see photos and progress. (if you cant see the ombouw specials button then i think you need to be a member). But i heard from him that he wanted to start a little online decals shop so if its online il be informing you guys;-)

i only have 1 display case, the one that came with the R25 Brazil model (it's plastic, they call it lucite). all my other models are just displayed in their own original boxes with the thin plastic windows so you can see the model.

you can buy cases from GrandPrixLegends, they have them for £14.99 each, or buy 2 for £19.99. they have those "bubble" cases also, they look cool but are around £35 each.

cool. could you post a link so we can see?

some of the models i've been interested have been without boxes, so i've turned away from them. but if i can get some decent quality cases cheaply, i may not turn away from box-less models in future.

and check this out guys, a 1:2 F2004 front wing replica: [cgi.ebay.co.uk]

he has some good helmet replicas also.
