Team Montenegro Statement

With Season 2 soon ending on what has been a mediocre season for Team Montenegro, there has been plenty of speculation as to our team's participation in Season 3 of the GPGNC, including suggestions that team owner Connor Steer was setting up a Monaco team. We would like to put an end to all the chatter and state that we will be participating in the same outfit as before you today. Whilst neither season so far has ended well, we have achieved 1 win each season, and are looking to move forward to achieve more. As for the money problems that other teams have been experiencing, we've had quite the opposite. Our participation in this series has seen motorsport take off in Montenegro and our backing could not be stronger. In fact potential for other series has increased, with prototypes being drawn up for participation in endurance and le mans series. As a token to our fans, here's a little taster of what Team Montenegro could be driving in the future:

Thank you for your attendance today

In all seriousness im in for S3, and the picture, well i was just bored so painted that ;). Would be awesome to see a le mans type series though, possibly with that car shape...

But that's the X1 shape, isn't it? Wouldn't really consider that a Le Man type.

I think it would be cool if the GPGNC changed to this car shape. It would give the series a point of difference.

Fair point admittedly i agree, but a le mans style series with the X1 shape would be awesome, not called le mans but with long long races ;)

And i agree it would be awesome to see this shape in the series Nathan, and i have worked on the physics in the passed to make it quicker than normal cars, but not too volatile (trust me, gp4 can cause big accidents constantly if the speed is too high ;-)) so it would work, but at the same time i'm not sure everyone would agree with it, its quite different...

In all honesty if this series became a endurance styled series I might consider staying on...

The shape looks pretty cool, but please don't introduce it for next season, I don't want to repaint my car ;)

I think the problem with endurance races is that the coverages would get much more time-consuming.

I wouldn't worry kedy, if we were going to change shape that drastically, everyone would have to agree on it i think.

As for the endurance idea, well if it were to happen it wouldn't be any race, and as kedy said, coverage becomes more difficult. There is one way that did cross my mind and thats live streaming, which i can possibly do. I've brought lap limit up in a thread, and the limit is 127 laps, so races could be anywhere between 2 hours and 5.5 hours long, which is plenty.
But its quite a difficult idea to manage and it does of course depend, does it become part of this series, a completely new series or simply the occasional event?

Thoughts?

Now that I think about it I personally think it would fit with this series. However I do think it might be a cool idea to have a separate endurance series with a race maybe once every month or two with live-streamed races. But again this is purely just speculation, to pull it off you'd need to have a small group of people who are committed to keeping such a series running and with the GPGNC, the GPGSL and the F1 Manager series, there just doesn't seem to be that many people left :/

I think that endurance races don't fit to the game as we're limited to 22 cars. And I doubt that there would be much position fights on the track after 2 hours (I always do 100% races, and most time there are hardly any battles after 1hour).

Assuming we're sticking to the same carshape, I've started the Spain car.

Think of a cross between the 2012 HRT and the 2008 Campos GP2 car...

I Agree if you are talking about the car shape.
But i think something should be done about the boost spent, specially in qualifying, because i am spent to many point and rarely start in the top ten.

-----------------------------------------------------

Ok well my statement about the carshape still remains, we will keep the current carshape, you won't have to repaint kedy ;).

If anyone is interested in the endurance race idea, you can always discuss it with me by pm.

Yup don't worry, the boost and the variance is something we will look at over the season break. I'm going to run a lot of tests, and hopefully we will end up with a system that is both fair and interesting.

Oh and is anyone interested in RD'ing this round, i'm not sure if ben is able to, and i definitely can't. Thanks :)

Well, 8 or 9 points in 3 races is still possible for you, Germany or France. But France doesn't deserve it. They crashed too often into me this season ;)

Bulgaria statement

We are very happy with our performance this season. That is why we are planning to participate for next year. This leads to our next challenge: We would like a little outsorcing - we'd be happy if someone create the design for our next year car. It seems that N. Nikolov is likely to be our driver next year, too. Nikolov also wishes a new helmet.

This is the reason for us to announce that we are looking for a volunteer to create our design for next year. If there is someone willing to do it for us - please contact our department (via PM). Deadline for contacting us - 17th june. If there is no one willing to do this for us, we'll get it ourselves. If there are more than one person, willing to help us - we will give all them our instructions and give them enough time (same for all) to present their projects, after which we will choose one.

So, If anyone is interested - please contract us ASAP :)
