The guide for updating Grand Prix 4 to the 2010 Formula One season [17th March 2010]

Have you edited the "numcars.ini" file in gp4tweak_data subfolder?
If not, do it, by replacing the 0 on both of the right columns with 1, and you will have your team 11 in game!

Where are some of the cars links? McLaren, Force India, Toro Rosso...

As 2chance1 was trying to point out, there is no link to a download for a Mclaren, Torro Rosso or Force India on page 1.... Any link to these cars would clearly help out this thread.

Obviously the thread should remain to help people who are new to editing GP4 so they aren't posting threads all over the shop asking questions about it. It just needs to be updated with links to those 3 missing teams.

Hello, GP fans

First of all, sorry for my english. It's very bad so... no hard feelings

I want to upgrade my GRAND PRIX 4 to GRAND PRIX 2010 season, but i can't go through this tutorial! I stuck up in the ,,2010 TEAM ORDER,, section. Where do I change all this ,,car_xxx_carx_lod_x.gp4,, files?

Hi Superunknown.

1) You must download and install ZaZ Tools.

2) Run "Easywad". A dialog box appears saying "Associate with .wad files?". Tick the box.

3) Open your GP4 folder. Open "cars.wad". Car_xxx_carx_lod_x.gp4 files are here.

1) morate prenesti in namestiti ZaZ Tools.

2) Zaženite "Easywad". Prikaže se pogovorno okno rek "Associate with .wad files?". Označite polje.

3) Odprite mapo GP4. Open "cars.wad". Car_xxx_carx_lod_x.gp4 datoteke so tukaj.

Thanks TomMK for info, but i still have no idea how to update game. I'm new in this GP4 world and I would really appreciate if someone could guide me from begining to the end. Something like ,,Tutorial for dummies,,

is there any new silverstone layout version released?

I've been looking for stuff to update GP4 to the 2010 season and I've found plenty of stuff in this thread. However, most of that was uploaded to megaupload, which, as we all know, is now gone.
Can somebody direct me to a place where those files can still be found?
I need 2010 tracks, pitcrews and helmets!
