We have a problem with the Istanbul circuit. There is a invisible ridge along the pitlane near the pit wall and if a car strays over that whilst returning to the pits during free practice and qualifying it gets stuck for the rest of the session, sometimes blocking the pitlane. I'm going to try other versions of the track, hopefully I can find a working version.

b-tone helped me with the problem we had with Le Mans so I would be inclined to go with that.
I have found an earlier version of Istanbul which seems ok, I have done Free Practice with no problems, if I can get through qualy too I'll go with that one Keep ya fingers crossed

Istanbul Free Practice

Weather Forecast: 0.01% chance of rain
Circuit Conditions: Dry and hot.

Because of the problems of canine interlopers, the GPGSLRS decided that the weekend would be condensed into 2 days. Free Practice at 11am followed by Qualifying at 2pm on the Saturday and the race at 3pm Sunday.

11am and the test drivers ventured out onto the circuit led by Lucky 7 team owner Randy Winston. Dan Mills used his extra boost for DER well, holding on to top spot for most of the session. Just when it looked like he was gonna take the 15 points, Ricardo van Smirren stole the lead. However just as Ricardo was screaming and shouting on the team radio to his Shadow team, Nick van der Voort went even quicker.

The Champ will be disappointed with that.


So will Warrington, but still, he's in front of Oakley.


Marko Aleksander sets third fastest.


And Nick van der Voort grabbing 4th. Just over a tenth is covering the first 5 places.


I just knew I would keep the pole for long. Warrington sets fastest time on his 2nd run.


van der Voort pips John again. Thats me 3rd now

Lay off will ya! Ed keeps up his excellent qualifying record. (6th )


Oakley manages to at least keep Warrington in sight. (7th )


Houston takes 3rd, knocking Warrington down to just in front of Oakley. Gonna be a fascinating race.
