Adelaide Street Circuit rebuilt first pictures

There will be another planned update whenever I get it finished. It will contain power poles and power lines, slight modifications in track widths and kerbs and a few new textures. I am awaiting some pictures that will help in the placement of buidings etc.

I would like to know if it is possible to change the height of a verge and then make the verge invisible? Some of the kerbs have pavement but whn I change the height of the banks, it starts at zero and then it goes to my desired height. I therefore have to use verges to make the bank the same height all over (say 0.1m).

Update:

I have used the Fence Editor to make the concrete walls 3d. The walls are NOT flat and the fencing is not right in line. It is sunk in about half the length.

I will also be using V8 Supercars adverts as I got some pictures (from this year) showing the adverts, bank, crowns etc. This track will look sick!!!!

I also managed to find 3dsmax 7 but I'm not sure if its a demo. Its on the computers at school but I can't get it because everything is logged.
the 2008 v8 supercar race is this weekend, so there will be several pics then.

btw, maybe you could include both the v8 and f1 ads so we can choose

Finally had a go last night, looks a real good improvement on the last beta. Presume you know about the flickering green tarmac in some areas, but the general feel of the textures is superb. Also there are many textures that are upside down, including a few trees!


The track still plays up a bit and crashes to the desktop sometimes on the 95 MOD.
I am going to make a paddock like in Europe for a bit more realism. I know there were no trucks but it will feel better.
I have a big problem. It crashes to the desktop at the end of the loading screen. It's not a CC-Line issue or track flag issues as there are no red ones.

I'm not sure it's due to the track as log clearly shows that your steering wheel is missing many objects.
I would suggest to reinstall your steering wheel mod before checking track again.

Make sure that all objects have unique names.
Crashes at the end of the loading bar happen because of duplicate object names

What is the steering wheel MOD?? I don't have a steering wheel.
I was speaking about in-game cockpit steering wheel graphics.

Where are they??? Are they on the original GP4 disk or with CSM mods?
I've found the problem: It was a texture issue. The cloud texture had changed to one that doesn't exist for some reason.

I've also figuired out the Width Offset. Take the middle of the track. To the right is a percentage of the right track width (eg if the right TW is 1200, then 50 for the WO will be 600). The width offset is negative to the left.
