Was the latest version a final one? Or a beta? I remember some screenshots from last year but I don't remember if it was released.

Is it the Adelaide track of Zjokke which is still a WIP?

I sent him a PM and he said that the projects (Adelaide + Aida) have been stopped but not abandoned (so don't ask). I decided to edit Adelaide to add more buildings, stands, ads, bridges etc. I also have local knowledge as I come from Adelaide. I also have video footage of Adelaide 95, 89 and 93 full races plus highlights from 88,90 and 91. I have also wanted to see what track edting is like.

What I have edited:
The change in track width after the atart-finish line
Adverts closer to 1995
Bridges
Markets Turn
Brewery Bend
Safety Barriers
Pits Straight

Pits: (ignore upside-down textures)

Some of the adverts were taken from an f1c track:

Pits Straight:

New Stand more like the real one, new bridge, adverts are closer to 1995, track width changed, new stand on left, start light

Markets Turn:

Markets taken from f1c (how do I remove the pink bits), new trees, stands, walls moved inwards, new background buidings from f1c

Jones Straight:

Fences like street tracks (how do I make the fences without the grey bits in the red circle??), Brewery from f1c, new bridge with EDS logos, walls moved in

Brabham Straight:

Royal Coach from f1c, new traffic light, stands changed, trees surrounding Bartels Road on left

There is a long way to go but I think it looks quite good

Nice work :)
The pink bits are probaby transparent, so you need to make an alpha layer with the pink being black, and the rest white.
To flip the textures open slimtex, click on the 'batch to TGA' tab, drag all the tga files onto the white area, select all of them (ctrl a), right click and choose flip, and then hit convert. back up first.

I have uplopaded this version (non CSM):

[rapidshare.com]

I can't get it to work at all. Maybe someone could help me. It worked yesterday.

EDIT: Working now. It is CC-Line issues. I have no idea how to edit the CC-Line, it would be helpful if someone could make a good CC-Line. The circuit file is in the upload.

Photoshop or GIMP to make alphas.

I have that exact same book and almost a complete collection of 85-86-87-88-89. Only 87 is missing and I saw it in a shop.

I can't find the objects on top of the bridges, which would be very realistic. I had to estimate the height of the barriers. The background is wrong at the moment.

> How do I make an Alpha Layer???

In photoshop open the Channels palette, and with an RGB image click on new layer, and it should give youan 'Aplha 1' layer. Thats the alpha. White=visible in game, black=invisible.
With those pink textures you could select the pink areas with the wand, and paint the selection black on the alpha channel.

It would be nice to see the track in HD, and some of the corners need smoothing out a bit.

> How do I make an Alpha Layer???

Here is my photoshop tutorial. :)

Load fence texture, use rectangular marque tool...

Copy fence texture with Ctrl+C and then go to Channels and create new channel (Alpha 1), Paste fence texture to alpha channel with Ctrl+V.

Go to Image/Adjusments/Brightness/Contrast and increase Contrast to 100 and Brightness about 10 or more..

Then paint over those black pixels with pencil tool & white color(red circle around black pixels.) and alpha channel is ready.

Last thing, save texture. (.tga 32bits) :)

Greetings, TTM

The .gpi file was only there if you want to install it with CSM. If you want to try it out don't forget to delete the CC-Line. Try it with this one:

I found some HD textures from other tracks. I don't want to edit the track itself but some of the corners do need to be reprofiled:

Senna Chicane: Way to fast. The exit on to Wakefield Street is not right but I will fix it.
Brewery Bend: A difficult bend to make. It has never been right in any of the games I have played that have had Adelaide. It is a 100mph 4th gear right hander with big kerbs.

1. Go to TSM
2. Go to 'manage tracks"

3. Create new track

4. Give folder location eg: Melbourne\2007 format: Track\Year with backward slash

5. Put wad, bik, dat etc in that folder
6. Track Info:

7. give the .wad, .dat, loading screen, .bik, ,gpi and magic data by clicking next to the relevant item and it will show automatically as long as its in the right folder
8. Save and it can be added to profiles

Sorry If I am misunderstanding something here, but does this track not have a cc line? Or is the cc line wrong in some way? Again, I'm just seeking clarification...
