i got it, thnx for that

@lo2k: i've just redone the track with a less steep banking, seemed to take the problem away, the question is, is this slow speed due to a flaw in gp4 design, or is it becasue of a miscalculation at your end? :)

pffff , can anyone help me out ?!? I can't get the pitlane and the cc-line good .

to place a flag you should doble click the sector you want to put the flag in, and then hit the ADD button, it will open a window where you can choose which flag you want. and where to put it, follow Maverick's tutorial (the pic showing the flags) and place them in the sector you think it's better, but in that order.

I'm against sigpics
l02k is it possible you can make a Direct3D version of 3DEditor?

if its too much trouble then forget it
Do someone know how to make a good cc-line (i don't get the explanation of the cc-line in the tutorial from maverick)

@Maverick: Yep, I also suspected GP4 to slow down cars due too to high banking, it should be the matter...

@Mini Maestro: No way guy, sorry.

*OT* hey iceman-kimi , your sig is funnily BIG... 20 kb is the maximum !
And it is 20 kb

Hm, but on default indy the cars down slow down on the banking, allthough it's only a degree les steep.

Then add 1 degree to indy banking and see if cars are slowing...

i also count 19.25 KB (19713 bytes) for Iceman-Kimi's sig, however my personal opinion is that it is too high, same _tux_ too high. maverick & lo2k have nice sigs...

well i could lo2k, but for now i'll just take a lower banking, this high one was a stupid idea, the player car just shoove of the hill on the grid :+

Just one question, 3deditor still doesn't generate pitlaneverges bins, why is that? due to a technical limitation? cause they should be the same as all the other bins right?

Yep, I saw car was slowly sliding down on the starting grid too.

Matter is that pitlaneverge bin is not described in the .dat, so this would need some computation.
Anyhow, I really don't know what this .bin file is used to and I even wonder if it is necessary.

it's used to cover up the banks in the pitlane. so you could calculate them by taking the left/right (depending on wich side the cars stop) bank description
