Current StandingsThe Rules and Regulations1) Race WeekendA) Free Practice- Each race weekend starts with a 30 minute free practice session
- A setup bonus is available every race weekend during free practice. The closer you're two drivers times are the better the reward. The top 3 teams get a 30 driver performance bonus and a 5 bhp boost for qualifying and the race whilst places 4th to 6th get 15 driver performance bonus and 3 bhp boost.The performances then return to default ready
B) Qualifying- Qualifying is run as one 30 minute session in which drivers can complete up to 12 laps to post their best time.
C) Race- Each race weekend there are two GP2 races.
- Race 1 of the weekend is a Feature Length Race run at 50% race distance, this races uses the grid from qualifying.
- Race 2 of the weekend is a shorter Sprint Race run at 25% race distance, this race uses the results from Race 1 but with the top ten places reversed.
- The Feature race uses the following points system:
1st / 10pts
2nd / 8pts
3rd / 6pts
4th / 5pts
5th / 4pts
6th / 3pts
7th / 2pts
8th / 1pt
- The Sprint race uses the following points system:
1st / 6pts
2nd / 5pts
3rd / 4pts
4th / 3pts
5th / 2pts
6th / 1pt
- Soft + Hard Compound Tyres
- Prior to a race weekend each manager may choose whether they want to use soft, medium or hard compound tyres which have the following effects.
Soft Compound Tyres: +50 Driver Qualifying Perf, -50 Driver Race Perf
Hard Compound Tyres: -50 Driver Qualifying Perf, +50 Driver Race Perf
Medium Compound Tyres: No Effect
- Should a manager not submit a choice in time, they will automatically be assigned with Medium Compound Tyres.- Driver Bias/ Number One Drivers
- Prior to a race weekend each team manager can nominate one of their two race drivers to be their 'Number 1 Driver' for that race weekend, by sending a pm to the F1_Manager account stating their preferred driver.
- By selecting to prioritizing one driver managers can reallocate performance points from their second driver and award them to their chosen driver as follows:
For example, a teams perf is as follows:
[Team #XX]
Name=N/A,
Performance=800,800,1000
First Driver=11,Driver A,15000,100,15000,100
Second Driver=12,Driver B,15000,100,15000,100
If the manager of Team XX were to nominate Driver A as his number 1 driver, and boost his perf by 50 points, the perf would look like this:
[Team #XX]
Name=N/A,
Performance=800,800,1000
First Driver=11,Driver A,15050,100,15050,100
Second Driver=12,Driver B,14950,100,14950,100
- For 2007, managers will only be able to reallocate a maximum of 100 perf points in total per event.2) PerformancesA) Team Performances- Each team performance is calculated based on their position in the previous year's Constructor's Championship, as well as which engine and brake manufacturer they use and their pre-season testing plans.

4) Actvity Checks- Activity checks are carried out on a bi-weekly basis in order to encourage managers to engage with the series.

GP2 BudgetsTeam BudgetsEngine/Brake Manufacturers- Each team must sign an engine and brake supplier each season.
- However, unlike Formula One, GP2 Managers have a choice of three engine manufacturers to choose from – Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault
- Of these engines, Mercedes is the most powerful but is also the least reliable, Renault is the least powerful but the most reliable and Ferrari sits in the middle. Each engine also costs £5,000,000
- There is no limit to the number of teams each engine manufacturer can supply.
- Each brake supplier has a reliabilty and a BHP setting which is chosen at random from within a specific range at the start of each season.
Drivers Market- Each team is required to have two drivers both as a minimum and as a maximum.
- Drivers will be ready at random times throughout the season for contract negotiations.
- Once a driver becomes available for contract negotiations send a pm to the F1_Manager account with your offer and for which driver you wish to sign.
- Drivers will begin to accept offers two races after they first become open for contract negotiations. If a driver has no offer by this point they will remain available for contract talks and will accept contracts on a race by race basis.
- Both F1 teams and GP2 teams may bid on drivers in GP2 and F1 however, regardless of how much money is involved, drivers will always prioritize an F1 seat over a GP2 seat.
- Sister teams and loaning of drivers between the series are strictly not allowed.
- GP2 teams may only sign drivers on 1 year contracts. Should no F1 teams wish to sign your drivers for the following season, you will be given an opportunity to resign your drivers before they are re-added to the marketplace.
Current Drivers Available:TBAWCC Reward- Teams will receive the following rewards at the end of the season according to where they finish.
