If there were medals instead of points in all seasons it could be a lot of changes on drivers championship, it would be
# Michael Schumacher: 7 (1994, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004).
# Juan Manuel Fangio: 5 (1951, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957).
# Alain Prost: 5 (1981, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1993).
# Jim Clark: 4 (1963, 1964, 1965, 1967).
# Ayrton Senna: 4 (1988, 1989, 1990, 1991).
# Jack Brabham: 3 (1959, 1960, 1966).
# Jackie Stewart: 3 (1969, 1971, 1973).
# Nigel Mansell: 3 (1986, 1987, 1992).
And in 1958 champion would be Stirling Moss
In 1977 Mario Andretti
In 1979 Alan Jones
In 1981 Alain Prost
In 1982 Didier Pironi
In 1983 and 84 Alain prost
In 1986 and 87 Nigel Mansell
In 1989 Ayrton Senna
In 2008 Felipe Massa
With the things like that the team Brabham with Bernie ecclestone as leader could never won a championship
Nelson Piquet would lost his 3 titles and Niki Lauda only would keep 1975 crown
Stirling Moss would be the first British Champion. Clark would won 4 titles instead of 2. Andretti and Jones would won 2 titles each instead of 1, Prost would won 5 instead of 4 and in different years except last 2, Mansell would won 3 titles, and Ayrton would won 4 titles
Looking the battles for the championship, in 22 seasons would be different... 14 shorter (1955, 1970, 1978, 1987, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2003 y 2004) and 8 longer (1973, 1977, 1979, 1980, 1990, 1991, 2001 y 2005)
So, as I and most of you guys said... ITS A STUPID IDEA
