They went on about that yellow flag to much.

The flag came out near enough as massa was passing nothing he could do.

And it was not just Sato wing that hit you can see it was the rear left susspenion as well as the wing.

Lets Face it, if drivers had to slow down every time Sato was facing the wrong way, we would have to race behind the safety car...

IMO it would a joke if Massa was penalized, he was already onto the straight. It was also Q1, if it was Q3, might be a diff story, I dont think we will hear anything from it.

Dosnt matter, rules are rules...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

They are, but you need sensible application of rules, and giving Massa a penalty wouldn't really be a sensible applicaiton. He could see all the way down the pit straight and there was nothing in his way whatsoever. Besides, I'm sure none of the drivers immediately behind him lifted off at all either. You'd have to penalise those drivers too.

...and the rules say he shouldn't be penalised, so that's a bit of a duff argument.

Heh, I'm finding great that Alonso went to Renault...his remarks lately have been great fun :D

"Robert Kubica celebrated his first pole position on Saturday night with a quiet game of cards with his closest F1 friend - double world champion Fernando Alonso.

But while Alonso, the Spaniard who had qualified tenth in Bahrain, was delighted for his Polish friend, he insists that the rise of BMW Sauber does not bode well for the recovery of his Renault team in 2008.

"Instead of two teams in a different world to us, now there are three," the 26-year-old told the Spanish newspaper El Pais at Sakhir.

"For me this is not a good development, because now I am aspiring only to seventh position in races at the most.
"

Alonso said he also played cards with Kubica after qualifying in Australia, where a driving error cost the 22-year-old pole position.

"Tonight I think he will not be as bad tempered as he was then," Alonso laughed. "

The borefest will begin shortly.

Edit: Did alonso let off the throttle? because i'm sure hamilton wouldn't just hit him like that?

Looked like Alonso just lifted off in the middle of the corner

Won't be surprised if Alonso gets penalized

He got abit wide on the exit of the 2nd corner, maybe slowed his exit speed down.

He didnt CAUSE a crash IMO
