Back to topic.. obviously Alonso cant handle preassure very well and impulsive actions are gonna take place in the next weeks IMO.

Monil: that was not exactly my point, it was more the point that both things he has at McLaren, are not present at the Renault team in his current form. So there's no reason to leave.

However, neither would a motivated F1 driver just stay for the amount of money, when he can win at another team. But because Alonso CAN (and did) win at McLaren, he should stay.

Should he stay? I'm not sure. You are looking purely from the financial point of view there, and just because Renault isn't winning this year, doesn't mean they won't in 2008. I think Alonso would be willing to be paid less, if it meant driving for a team where he is comfortable with. Sometimes that's more important than money.

And he did win 3 races for McLaren, but that's hardly a great reason to stay. McLaren could be a big pile of crap next year for all we know.

i must say Ferrari can handle this situations wayyy much better than Mclaren, remember the MS, Rubens feuds??

You cant compare Rubens to Lewis/Fernando in terms of skills or attitude, its a different context.

I don't think it's the same. Rubens was never in a position where he could seriously threaten Schumacher. I think the whole problem is seriously aggravated by the whole Coughlan/Stepney thing that is going on. Everyone is already a bit angry with McLaren and this ended up being a good opportunity to hurt them.

Previously, I thought Kimi should've stayed at McLaren, but now I see what a smart move he made. Specially if Ross Brawn comes back to Ferrari next year. There's a big probability of him being World Champion next year. Sadly, this year it will be hard.

Alonso will ran away, just like Damon did back at the end of 1996. He couldn't stand beeing beaten by the rookie so he ran away. And to whom did he ran to ARROWS!!!???? a mighty race winning machinery. LOL. Fernando will end up at torro rosso, btw torro is his national symbol!

My point is that your comments seem relatively immature, how can you say Alonso will run away like that? he may go to a different team because his not in a comfortable situation right now, It'd mean hes smart enough to avoid more trouble and get an opportunity elsewhere.
