The last time an intruder made it onto the track during a Grand Prix was in 2000 at Hockenheim, where ironically Rubens Barrichello was also the race winner. At that time the man was prostesting against losing his job at Mercedes.
now what? he wore green...he wore a kilt...might be a typical scot...got sacked by jaguar? ;)

Great race, entertainment all the way through. I also feared the worst when we went to an ad break, the consequences could have been horrific.

Why is there a huge 'Marlboro F1' advertisement on the track (as seen in the above picture)? The teams aren't allowed to run with tobacco liveries, yet the track itself has them. Weird.

yeah! i was about to ask the same too, er...but...that advert is not that big actually :) only seen one of those on the track, between the two Fosters ad...if there's a tobacco ad around the track, why aren't the Ferrari, Mclaren and other tobacco sponsored team running the usual tobacco'ed livery?

I think a reason to drop the UK GP will be that "intruder"... If the authorities did their job better this would have never happened

AMD64 3400+ (running at 2,66ghz atm ;))DDR400 1gb(running at 433) Asus K8N-E Deluxe mobo, 6800ultra, Tagan tg-480w, Audigy 2Zs, Logitech Z-5500 speakers
Using X-aser Lanfire case with 5 fans inside cathodelights etc included aswell :P

really hope Silverstone will stay in the calendar as long as F1 lives...it's a driver's circuit after Spa :) i like this circuit...
plus...it is impossible to have an F1 season without a British GP...

Rubinho did the GREATEST RACE in his career!!!
He was absolutely flying!
Fantastic perfomance for Brazilian & not the best for MS!

According to RTL there was something like "Read the bible! The bible tells the truth!" on the signs the nutter held up.

IMO the best race of the season.
Alot of action .
I am sure silverstone will be there next year. I hope i do so.
And its getting closer in Drivers champ too.

as brundle said tho, it is impossible to man mark every inch of the race track.

it could easily happen at any other track in the world if some nutter decides to go on a suicide mission

ifsilverstone is dropped, as far as i am concerned, that is the end for F1.

because it has history, it is NOT a 'nutered' circuit - it is a proper showground for a formula 1 car

it would be a travesty of th highest order, and i WOULD knock on the FIA office and demand a face to face with max and bernie and properly give them a bollocking

This has been the first whole successfull and perfect weekend in Rubens career, the second one (wich should be the first) was in Austria 2002, but as we all know...
But all those overtakings by him during the surely gets all the credits to make put this weekend as the best in his 10 year F1 career.

err, maybe not completely perfect - he spun off in qualy 1!

the best weekend for a driver is if he comes 1st in every practice session, qualifies first, then leads lights to flag victory

Rubinho shut his critics' mouths today! Finally! You guys have no idea of what he has to go through in Brazil. There is always somebody complaining and accusing him of something - and we know he may have sttled down a bit this year in Ferrari -, but he was alone in F1 after Senna died, and since then we (brazilians) always expected Rubinho to fill his place, even though he was too young. Hopefully this great race he had will inspire him to bring back the good Jordan/Stewart times, but without the engine/failure problems!
Ahh, finally I said it ;)

Great race from Rubens. Best skill in overtaking I've seen.

Kimi continues to show why Ron made a mistake. (with both)

Ferrari now have the fastest car.

Its a shame the final standings might reflect on some idiot.

Edit- Its great to see JV and MS go head to head.

Rubens fans are not only Brazilian. :)

Lets hope no engine failures. It was extremely frustrating after Brazil GP. I was thinking something might happen today.
