GP3 2000 MOD "UNIVERSE": F1 1985/1996-2015 & 500+ tracks

Posted by pirx
In the 1998-season, Monaco and Canada are in the wrong order. In the game, Canada is first, but in real life, Monaco was first.
ok, will be fixed ...

thank you!!

How do you slow the cars down? i set it to amateur and there still about 3 seconds quicker.
I tried carset creator 2000 and it's the same.

It´s just a matter of tweaking and you have to change some txt-files, sure you check it out! ->read this thread:
->link

If you still got problems..keep on asking
AND don´t forget to use GpxPatch v3.93!!!

cheers!

I and i can't catch them. i checked the txt files and my team wasn't much slower. I changed settings in xpatch,
team dependant on off and made sure the performance file was ticked.

an example how to push team/driver:

[Team #xx]
Name=teamname,engine
Performance=750,700,5500
First Driver=x,name,15000,5,14000,5
Second Driver=x,name,14920,10,14937,0

-let´s give 20% more enginepower to this team:
...
->Performance=900,840,5500 (means you and your teammate will be equaly powered up)
...

-now raise values "15000" and "14000" to boost for example "First Driver" up by 20%:
->First Driver=x,name,18000,5,17800,5

that´s it!

important:
restore mods original gpxpatch-settings to take affect
Dear racers,

Patch v06 is ready to download and brings GPxPatch 4.22 compatibility beside a few fixes and upgrades.

....................
Patch contains:

-belini visor fixes for GPxPatch v4.22
-missing melbourne jams
-fixed race calender 1998 (montreal<->monaco)
-updated menubackgroundgrafics
-a tiny HUD2012 adjustment
-GPxSAT adjustment

download: ->here

enjoy!
It worked this time, but that one you sent was too fast, i'll have to keep testing.

@rob8791:

Marvelous belini! I just found out that there is another, much easier way to adjust the oponents to your personal performance:

0. Reset mod to original values
1. Goto gamedir and start "belini-grip-patcher.exe" which is able to tweak your grip
2. Increase the value in field "Track 1" and press "Patch" (this has an effect on all tracks of the current season!)

aditional info:
-This process effects the "GP3_2000.exe" so you have to do it again everytime you load a new season!
Dear racers,

a huge Patch_v07 is ready to download. It brings 800+ menubackgrounds! Now seasons 2002-2013 are up to date with nice background pictures from each season. This makes the mod a tiny f1-history-show of impressions. Have a look!

patch contains:

-all new backgroundmenu-images (800+) for seasons 2002-11
-changed visors default behaviour for seasons 2011-13

get: ->here
enjoy!
looks very good, but somehow, from the videos in the 1st post, it doesn't seem to behave like gp3.

it looks more glued to the tarmac than gp3 proper physics

maybe its because the steering wheel doesn't correspond properly to the slides, and to what the default steering wheel would do.

maybe i'm not used to it.

I play on the 2012 season mod (on the gp3 forum, its called gp-2012 mod, individual files) I play with a 2013 carset, as Alonso, and with mine, I managed a 1min 44.1 at Singapore in qualifying.

is there any way I can upload a video to show you without uploading to youtube?
-you are right, it´s just a grafical issue ->everyhing works like original gp3!
+ when you download this mod it will contain the original steering-wheel by default and will act "normal"...

cheers!
makes sense, thanks!

I have a good sound that you might like to use in this mod, its Toyota 2002 v10, and sounds pretty realistic

[www.mediafire.com]

that is the link, and it contains a soundpack which includes the Toyota 2002. the other car sounds do not sing as well.

maybe you can use it in you're next update

you need gp3 sounds (editor) to insert the files into the game.
+1! (I always was not really saddisfied with carsound..)

will test and integrate when back home, right now on holidays on balkan..

cheers!
here is a sample of what the Toyota 2002 v10 sounds like on my pc in gp3

[www.mediafire.com]
here are the v10 external sounds that I use, (also present in the Toyota 2002 recording)

[www.mediafire.com]

this one doesn't sing perfectly but its still worth trying and highly recommended

(you can hear it in the Toyota 2002 recording)

in the meantime, have a nice holiday!
