Grand Prix 4 @geerock82 - looks like we're talking about 2 different bugs in the same thread. What I experience is what drafi5 had, GP4 works perfectly for me. Have you tried turning all background programs off and killing non essential services?
Could also try newer or older GFX card drivers(some older games just won't work with the newer ones) And turning things off like AA, AF, via your GFX ca

Grand Prix 3 Good spot Drafi! I won't go back to ie6 now, so I'll just have to live with it. I wonder if Rene Smit could come up with a fix?

Grand Prix 4 @Drafi - yes that's right. Istanbul has a similar issue, so I had to resize this too, to work on my system.
Thanks for the latest installment of your latest masterpiece Paul!!!

Grand Prix 3 @ Fongu - Made this ages ago and sent it to either Duffer or Mckey, for the 1994 Lotus. Can't find it on my HD anymore, so hopefully either of those guys have it. If not, can rescan and clean it up again, but would be a couple of days.

Grand Prix 4 Just thought I'd add my thanks to all involved for an excellent mod! Perhaps the reason for so few replies is that the 'nitpickers' are struggling to find anything to criticise as it really is that good!

Try using a download manager. For some reason, zip and rar files get corrupted when downloading from this site. Good luck! And thanks Marino!

Grand Prix 3 Us 'oldies' are well aware of the graphics issues with some non standard size hardware jams, so my question is this. Which jam editor do you both use to create your jams?
The reason I ask is this. I have the problem experienced by many when using the pitlane tarmacs in the Belini tracks and resize them so that they are usable(But not how Paul intended for them to look ie not perfect)

Grand Prix 3 I've had to fix all my v7 Belini tracks because of this - the main culprits are the ***pt.jam files eg hun2006_pt.jam. i fix them slightly differently to Paul in that I resize each canvas, jam and texture using jamtool and PSP. The overall effect is slightly better. It does seem to be a problem with some nVidia cards but not all. Paul's using a 6600 with no problems. I'm running a

The fix folder is only needed if your graphics card doesn't support the irregular texture sizes used in mapping the pitlane and some trees.(I have this problem!). If you have this problem - overwrite the default jams supplied with the track with those in the fix folder. An easy way to tell if you have this problem is when you're in the pit, the tarmac outside the garages is b

Grand Prix 3 File is fine Marino! Phil, I had the same problem so used a download manager to re-download, no problems. if you need a good download manager with no ads, spyware and fully functional try this: It really is good and best of all - totally free!

Grand Prix 3 I asked Rene Smit this a long time ago on his forum. As it is GPxPatch already increases the default .dat size to 136Kb in GP3 v1.13. I don't know what the original limit was! If Rene couldn't get this any higher, I doubt there's anyone around now who could. The only way forward is to buy GP3-2000. Try e-bay,charity shops, 2nd hand departments of game retailers. It's worth the

Grand Prix 3 It's not a simple matter of conversion as GP3(v1.13) track.dat files are limited in size(137ish Kb max),whereas there is no such limit for the GP3 2000 track.dat files. So just editing magic data is a pointless exercise as the tracks would require 'gutting' to even work on v1.13, which would remove a lot of the realism Paul has managed with his work.
The only real solution is to

Grand Prix 3 In the GPxpdata folder there is a file called tracks.set. Every time you change a track, the tracks.set file changes to reflect this. So as an example, when you select all the 2002 tracks, copy the tracks.set file and rename it 2002 tracks.set. Repeat this process for each season ensuring you leave a tracks.set file behind too. Then on the GPxTrack portion of GPxPatch, click the little folder but

Grand Prix 3 If you launch GPxPatch.exe you should see the GPxPatch program with all it's selection tabs. On the first page ensure the GPxSAT extensionis enabled(this is the TV timing systems etc.) and start GPx fromthere. However if you're running the sim in software mode, this extension doesn't work as it's hardware mode only. Hope this helps as GPxPatch is an essential program to enable

I have 2001 and 2002 sets from RH with their original installers and team art. However they are quite large files (17 Meg and 8 Meg respectively), I'll gladly mail them to you providing your inbox is big enough.

Grand Prix 3 I have a bit of a hybrid 2002 season set-up for my GP3 2000 using default track order with your 2002 tracks. The reason being that imo Ralph Hummerich's 2002 season combined with Juoko Saarinens artwork makes for the best possible eye candy and the tracks match the menu graphics as far as possible, with 11 real teams and 17 tracks. So I edited my EAX dat to match. However, I've created a
