Most tracks are available on www,grandprixgames.org For Taruma you'll find it at www.hsw.hu The servers on Hungarian Sim World are sometimes very slow though. Nice to see you here Marino and thanks for the tracks!

Grand Prix 3 Does it occur with the default tracks? Never seen it before until today. Thought maybe a jam ID conflict but I can't even recognise the object.

Grand Prix 3 Hi Paul - Just doing a few laps around Spa 2002 and noticed this bug. It only occurs upon loading a race occaisionally which is what makes it frustrating to fix. It was happening before I resized the tree2 jam which was giving the black panel bug and after. Don't know if it applies to all versions of Spa.
Screenshot with visors removed for clarity:
Btw - like the new wheel?

Grand Prix 3 Are you using Windows XP? If so this may be worth a try; Copy the folder containing GP3Edit and its associated files to another location on your PC(eg Desktop). Uninstall GP3Edit, then cut the folder you copied elsewhere and paste back in it's original location. Don't know if ths will work but I do know that GP3Edit doesn't like being installed on XP. Failing that pm me your e-mail

Grand Prix 3 If you give us a little more info most people gladly help out. Does it work without any patches installed? Have you read and followed the readme files supplied with the patches. A bit of extra info always helps us to help you

Grand Prix 3 Firstly read the FAQ at the top of the forum for an idea of what it does plus the link below. You will need GPxPatch to fully utilise all the downloads on the site. It's very easy to install and a must have for all GPx users - you won't regret it. Latest version(3.91) and info here:

Grand Prix 3 Perf files contain a few incorrect driver positions, car numbers and typos. I've corrected these and will send you them if you want. I've cross checked all the details against F1 Yearbooks going back to 1999. Of course this will have a knock on effect with the helmet jams. I've not touched the perf values at all.

Grand Prix 3 Try disabling aa and af - GP3 hates them!

Grand Prix 3 I would say upload them. When I first uploaded the maps I'd used 1024x768 images which worked fine on my old GF2, but there was a lot of people especially in the GP4 community(it's a bit quieter here!) who had the same issues. It cured it for them, just did a search and it may be worth a read toward the bottom of this thread before you decide

Grand Prix 3 1.Run GP3Edit
2.Select Cars tab
3. Select the car which you want to change
4. In the Bitmap options box click load then select your new bitmap
5. In the Bitmap options box click Export
Done! Editing the car number positions is a little bit more complicated to explain so try having a play around. Hope this helps!

Grand Prix 3 Nothing that springs to mind. Using the timers wouldn't work as everyone's system speeds vary so results would be inconsistent, and without looking I don't think there are any controls for individual lights in GPxCinfo. Will have a look later tho. If you do want to develop this idea further Rene Smit is really helpful(as you probably know). I did a lot of beta testing when the firs

Grand Prix 3 Screenshot of bug:
The fix is straightforward if not a little time consuming,
1. Firstly increase the canvas size for every 256x192 image to 256x256 ensuring that the top of the original image is at the top of the new one. The extra 64 pixels will be chopped off when the .ini files are edited.
2. Edit Every image destination for the edited images in the .ini files to x1024 y1024

Grand Prix 3 Sorry Paul - really hate doing this as you know my thoughts on this work but I thought you ought to know as you're such a perfectionist. Happily I know the cure too!
The visor overlays appear irregular on my screen ie chopped top to bottom. When I was making the track map overlays I had a few similar problems from other users(not me then as I was using a GF2 card with which the problem di

Grand Prix 3 Firstly welcome to this side of the fence LO2K. I'm glad Stephan found a well respected member of the community to look after the file service.Your GP4 editing suite rocks btw!
Secondly, a massive thanks to Paul Arnall(Belini) for the brilliant updates to GP3-2000. It moves this sim onto a whole new dimension.I actually bought GP3-2000 purely to use the tracks you were making early doors

Grand Prix 3 Maybe one of the forum moderators could answer this for us. For those of us that have been around a few years, we understand that Stephan and Bruno lead very busy personal/professional lives and running the website is a sideline. However, for people like JackiMatra to upload his work for others to share, and then not see it appear on the site AND not have his mail replied to is a little unfair t

Grand Prix 3 Sorry but these are just crap based on other peoples work with no credit to the original authors. I mean a Winfield Williams jackman with a few logos p'shopped out and resized logos just pasted on does not make a Midland pitcrew. I can accept low quality work done from scratch - we all have to start somewhere and I would never insult anyone for trying but these? Please!

Grand Prix 3 Looks great. So good that you managed to get this project going again after the 3D editing woes. Btw - what was the soluton? And may I ask what's next after the tracks are completed? Thanks again in advance for the brilliant work you are still doing for this community!!!

Grand Prix 3 Check your MoBo specs - I know my memory slots will only support up to 1Gig sticks(MSI K8M Neo-V). You should be able to download a pdf manual for your board from Asus if you don't already have one.

Off-Topic @ drafi5: Like I said in my first post it's there for everyone to use so yes - help yourself! As for visors, I don't think so - they're bloody boring to make after doing a couple of sets!Might change my mind tho ;-p

Grand Prix 3 I noticed that the most recent carsets were lacking a Red Bull jack man so had a go at making this and here's what I came up with:
Will Upload the bitmap to GrandPrixGames.org as soon as I've done the readme. If any carset creators want to include this in their carsets feel free, just give me a mention.
