Grand Prix 4 Paul - the updated version still includes the old .dat file(Last edited 17/5/2004),therefore no grid etc..The readme supplied in the .rar is for v1.2.

Grand Prix 3 @Wando - no you can safely extract belini's files and nothing will be overwritten - they have their own dedicated folders.
@Belini - another(probably GP3 1.xx specific) bug to report. The Sakhir track doesn't display a starting grid - all other pit lines and S/F line display tho.

Grand Prix 4 Just copy the contents of the downloaded .rar folder to your GP2K directory - Paul's already packaged them with the correct paths. Jam folder positioning is all important. As for the circuit(.dat files), as long as they are in the circuits directory, it's not important if they are in individual folders or not.

Grand Prix 3 ??????????? Do you know how long it takes to create a track from scratch ????????? this weekend is probably the first time most of us have had a decent look at the whole of the circuit.So to be ready for download? fanciful mate. Just be patient as one of the good editors will eventually create it.

Grand Prix 3 Very nice! Although my poor old PIII struggles with these conversions I always install them to see what can really be achieved. Just a minor bug to report; on the 1999 and 2000 versions, the pitbuilding displays a little floating roof in mid air. I assume you've used the same building for all seasons and just forgot to assign 'blank textures' to this area? BTW' I'm runnin

Grand Prix 3 Yeah, sounds like you have jam files in wrong location. For example, in my GP3 folder path for Sakhir is:
C:\Grand Prix 3\Gp3jamsH\Belini\Tracks\Sakhir
This folder contains the generic track textures and two other folders: Trees & 2004. Also ensure you have the Belini genjam folder installed as well. Hope this helps

Grand Prix 4 Not really - she's just a bit of fun and something Ive been working on. Don't think I'll release her just yet as I've had to cut her butt away to fit the GP3 cockpit shape I use and currently she just has a Montoya board.

Grand Prix 4 @ MDBSnake: Not really, they're proper transparent overlays which appear prior to the lights changing although the slideshow is a good analogy

Grand Prix 4 Okay - the screens are done in GP3 but that's my testing ground! Expect a release sometime after the final GP for this little lot:
The full package will include the intros and(where applicable) 2 maps for each track.The intro displays for 3 secs followed by each map for 4 seconds each to give an almost animated effect.Almost,but not quite. ini files will be supplied for GP3 and GP4 as u

Grand Prix 4 Nah, this is an old bug and is easily fixed - the latest version of GPxSAT doesn't recognise changes in upper/lower case so well. Go into your GPxPdata folder and you'll see a file there called gpxsat.ini
Firstly make a back up.
Open the file in Notepad, then in section change all the strings to upper case. ie:
Section=String
Intermediate1=INTERMEDIATE 1
Intermediate2=INTE

Grand Prix 3 Just uploaded 'em! I've had to guesstimate a few layouts tho as getting all the track images from TV for this project was a pain - more info in readme.Thanks Briere for the images you managed to get for me!! This is a precursor to the 2004 style maps which are bang up to date(Monza) c/w intros. Expect a release shortly after the final GP. Anyone fancy hosting a preview pic for me?

Grand Prix 3 With Gp3v1.13 you can allocate two tyre/wheel types only.Car specific tyres are not possible. Use GP3 edit and import your current carset,click the whhels tab and you'll see options for tyre 1 and tyre 2. These can be renamed to any tyre name you wish to give in the white box next to these tabs.

Grand Prix 3 We could do with a 'Sticky' on all this stuff - seems to be a lot of noob type questions floating around again. How about it?

Grand Prix 3 No - No SAT development on this but some @#$%&-hot cinfo features if you're into editing your own graphics.

Grand Prix 4 That's because it did for the first two races of 1994 - was a fancy way of showing a zero!From Imola onwards a standard zero was used.

Grand Prix 4 Make sure you resize the 2004 .tga files to the correct sizes in the default anim.wad before importing the images - had this problem too a long while back.

Grand Prix 4 B-Tone, would it be possible for you to upload your modified .exe file? Hex editing is a little scary for me! Would be bloody handy for using various season carsets.
