Someone had suggested that each nose was designed with a specific temperature in mind, so when it got cooler at night they'd strap on a different nose for the optimum amount of downforce. Whether that's true or not, I'm not sure. Either way, that car just didn't have the speed of the Peugeot.by Zcott - Other Motorsports
Cars scooping up debris is nothing new at Le Mans. The Peugeots have been plagued with it for a while, so this year they installed easily-replaceable radiators which could be switched out in a couple of minutes. Doesn't really solve the problem but it's a useful workaround. Peugeot have had the faster car over the last few years but had this awful French habit of Peugeoting it and maby Zcott - Other Motorsports
@NickV: I'm not sure where I got it from, I remember finding it ages ago, using it for a week then not liking it. Now, I like it a lot.by Zcott - Off-Topic
I'm a big fan of their later stuff - Abbey Road and the White Album are all truly fantastic albums.by Zcott - Off-Topic
Happy birthday, good sir! What a shame that the author of celebrated novel AIRFRAME is no longer with us to share in the celebrations.by Zcott - Off-Topic
How about a MacBook Pro? I can quite happily run HL2 on full settings on mine... *ducks*by Zcott - Off-Topic
iTunes jacked up the price in States for certain tracks, but made less popular ones cheaper. Just fyi.by Zcott - Off-Topic
count.bazley Wrote: > > £15?!? I think the most I've ever spent on a CD > is £9.99 Yeah, but a lot of the stuff I want to listen to isn't available in mass market places like Zavvi or even Play.com, so it involves either buying it from Amazon and getting it delivered (expensive and slow) or finding it on iTunes and buying it there. Check out Spotify, though, itby Zcott - Off-Topic
Just you. If I can buy an album for either £7 or £15, I'll choose the cheaper option. Seems I'm not the only one, either. In a recent survey, 71% of American teenagers said they downloaded music as opposed to buying from a retail outlet. And the majority of people who bought from an online store used iTunes (97%).by Zcott - Off-Topic

I don't necessarily find this in bad taste, I just don't think it's all that funny.by Zcott - Off-Topic

Nice work, Mike! But don't drink too much or you might end up having a chat with Michael "I'm-every-era-not-just-the-one-I-made-really-famous" Crichton. Pictures ahoy!by Zcott - Off-Topic
Windows Mobile is nowhere near as good as iPhone OS 1.0, never mind 3.0! I used a friend's HTC phone yesterday and it was horrendous to use. Slow, required a stylus...not cool stuff anymore. When I had my Windows phone I frequently had to close all the apps in task manager just to make the thing work. The iPhone takes a different approach and naturally I'm going to say I prefer it, butby Zcott - Off-Topic
Not really. The iPhone is expensive but in terms of handsets, there's nothing comes close to it out there.by Zcott - Off-Topic
Nah, it's ok. I don't really want one. I've changed my mind. Not many things are as good as the gilted edge of o2 by the late Michel le Crichton.by Zcott - Off-Topic
But I really want one Hi Mike, how goes?by Zcott - Off-Topic
A thread bragging about pool water? Am I missing something?by Zcott - Off-Topic
3.0 is going to be awesome. Push, MMS, copy/paste...a whole bunch of really great features to keep the iPhone ahead of the game.by Zcott - Off-Topic
Try going to file > add to library in iTunes. Bear in mind they'll probably need to be converted to .mp4; I use a program called Videora (which is pretty horrible but works).by Zcott - Off-Topic
@Mike: I knew you'd enjoy it after your previous recommendation of AIRFRAME by MICHAEL CRICHTON. It's surprisingly addictive. @LS: Choose the "secret exit" from the main menu and you'll get a link to download the soundtrack. It's really nice.by Zcott - Off-Topic
Change that in iTunes. Go to store > sign out then sign back in again.by Zcott - Off-Topic
I'm not a big app user; the majority of my apps are installed in case of urgent need. Best ones I've found are BeeJive for IM, Zen Bound for a game (seriously, check it out), Shazam for identifying music, Lightsaber (who can resist the swishing sound?), eBay, and Tweetie for Twitter. Glad to hear you got one, how long before you want an iPhone?by Zcott - Off-Topic
