Hey! I'm from Essex!!! Actually, i live the chav capital of Essex, Southend. It's true, 90% of 17-24 year olds do drive around in the sort of cars to choke Ellis, but there are some normal people here too! I own a Mini, and it doesn't even have a radioby senninho - Off-Topic
I should expect they'd sound like the V8s that were used up until 1997(?) - quite good IMOby senninho - F1
He also seems to be ignoring the normal problem of having to learn the track before becoming fast! It'd be nice to see how he does in a race.by senninho - F1
Nothing really - they don't really offer any performance advantage AIUI. They will prolly claim it does though!by senninho - F1
You really won't see any benefit from a 64-bit processor in GP4, as it's a 32bit program. I had no end of problems on XP with GP4, but it's flawless on w98. There's a performance hit on XP as well, but i'm pretty sure both problems can be fixed by killing all of the services that run in the background in XP. As for question 3, i honestly don't knowby senninho - Grand Prix 4
Sounds like the bearings could be on the way out - my one is doing it atm, and stops if i nudge the case. I'd consider replacing it when it gets really loudby senninho - Off-Topic
I really don't know what the fuss is over the reduction in engine size - F1 went from 3.5 to 3 litres for 1995 and the racing was just as good, even with less than 650bhp. The designers will pull it back within a couple of years anyway. The weight increase will prolly make it a bit easier to overtake, as braking distances will increase slightly.by senninho - F1
The main problems with ADSL in the UK is that BT monopolize it, and thus can charge whatever the hell they want for it. They sell their 512k service wholesale for around £15, and obviously the ISP's have to make a profit on that. If BT weren't in charge, it would be at least £10 cheaper for everyone. I work for a UK ISP (who shall remain nameless for now ) and our Dutch counterpartsby senninho - Off-Topic
I've checked, and it actually is running at 4x - my mistake! As for the speed, i also had that performance, making me think there's either a patch i'm missing or an option i've not ticked. just to make it clearer, i'm running it in 1024x768, as before, and in hardware mode - i have never got software modem working in XP :Sby senninho - Grand Prix 3
Hi, i've recently reinstalled GP3, so that i can make myself a 2004 carset to play with until a decent one comes out for F1c (Suddenly i remember why GP3 r0x0rs!). However, i cannot seem to get the FPS below a constant 130% - this is very odd, as i used to get about 70% in most places. The spec of my pc is: Athlon XP 2000 512mb 333mhz DDR ram Geforce4 MX440 running at AGP 2x (old, i knoby senninho - Grand Prix 3
A11 j00r p0st r bel0ng 2 us! Man... i need to stop playing counterstrike...by senninho - Off-Topic
Hmm... nearly there! That's the closest i've ever had to a working sig pic in this forum :Dby senninho - Off-Topic
I believe the Netsky virus (and its variants) work in the same way as Vader described. As for actually making it appear to be from you, that can actually be done by putting your email address into a mail client like Outlook Express as the From address, or doing likewise in an SMTP session.by senninho - Off-Topic
Lol - Weebl (the guy who made it) already has a forumby senninho - Off-Topic
I can live with James Allen, although there is a list of people who could do the job better. IIRC Steve Matchett used to be a Benetton mechanic - i do believe he wrote an autobiography from the 1994 season - if he commentates like he writes, then he's goodby senninho - F1
There's a sign like that near where i live - i'm oh so tempted to get a marker and write 'Mushroom Mushroom' under it. Or better still, a picture of said badgerby senninho - Off-Topic
IIRC, each circuit had (has?) a JAM folder which you installed... i think in the folder called JAMS, then the actual .dat file was in the Circuits folder - i also recall each had to be something like f1circuitxx or something along those lines...by senninho - Off-Topic
I've got one myself, and after owning: Nokia 5110 Nokia 3210 Nokia 8110 Nokia 7110 Motorola V70 SonyEricsson somethingorother and can honestly say it p*sses all over all of them - and i'm talking about the phone aspect as well. Ignore the pictures suggesting you have to hold it like a lemon - you use it perfectly well holding it like a normal phone. The reception is excellent comparedby senninho - Off-Topic
Yup, Antonio Banderas it was - but nothing has been said for about 3 years about it andrew_S wrote:by senninho - F1
I certainly do - 'The Ring' and 'Nordschleife' are just 2 different GPL conversions. Nordschleife was done by SBDT, and i just think it's a little closer to the fantastic GPL originalby senninho - Off-Topic
an easy way to get it would be to download F1rst2 - it'll auto-download any track you try to race or host. I do believe it's on there. Personally i think the Nordschleife is better. I'll see if i can find any linksby senninho - Off-Topic
I do believe it's F1 Legend, but canny remember the address off the top of my head - i'm sure it'll turn up in Googleby senninho - F1
Me too! Also the Larrouses - may even have to dig that game out now Still, it was a very 'clean' and simple car compared to the odd happenings we have this year.by senninho - F1
Pah! when my pc explodes i'll just use my Mac instead - it's so fashionable to not like them, nobody ever bothers to write damaging virii for them Although to be fair, every version of Windows since 95 has been brimming with flaws and security holes...by senninho - Off-Topic
I think BT are wrong in setting trigger levels for exchanges - all they have to do is install a box called a DSLAM at the exchange, and connect ADSL customers' line cards to it effectively. And yet they claim this takes lots of time and costs £10,000. It's odd, because other DSL providers like Bulldog will do it much quicker and cheaper from what i've seen. Also, BT won't currby senninho - Off-Topic
I do agree with Palomino - the reason there was so much more overtaking in CART is that they have strict rules for aero. For a start the front and rear wings are regulated so that they don't produce that much downforce, and also they have a small amount of ground effects to make them more stable when following another carby senninho - Off-Topic
In Ralphi's picture, it's the bit at the very back of the wing - the bit that's going vertically down. IIRC i read in Autosport ages ago that it basically breaks up the airflow coming off of the rear wing, creating lots of drag and aiding slipstreaming.by senninho - Off-Topic
