Phew! 5 pages to read! This series is really taking off. Could we do this testing series with 11 drivers? One for each team and only count the eleven testers and not their team mates? If that makes sense Love the Alpha livery Ed Nice to see I was in 8th place for the first test session, don't know what happened in the second LOLby Stoopid - Grand Prix 4

Should we now start a new thread for season 2?by Stoopid - Grand Prix 4
Marko, what I meant was the adjusted formula you used has to be adjusted every season to give every champion the same advantage. The only difference is you have used perf points scored and I've used total points scored. We have come up with different scores, but we have done it in the same way. I wasn't saying what you had done was wrongby Stoopid - Grand Prix 4
Teams, say we decide to give the champion team 2 wins and 2 poles worth of points (this is open to debate obviously) 32 points. 32 would then be divided by 4 to give 8 bhp we just then divide Minardi's 171 by 8 giving us 21.375 Then divide all the teams by that much 1Minardi 171 - +8 2Double F 117 - +5 3Phoenix Racing 116 - +5 4KBR 94 - +4 5Shadow Subaru 72 - +3 6Velox 61 - +3 7DERby Stoopid - Grand Prix 4
Marko, that formula won't work every season. We have to decide how many points extra the champion is gonna get at the start of the season and adjust the formula to suit the amount of points the champion has scored. Let's say for example we decide to give 2 wins worth 30 points to the champion of every season. Now Philip scored 91 points, you divide Philips score by 30 giving you 3 thenby Stoopid - Grand Prix 4
@ Marko. Yeh i've read it matey @ Tom. Was the formula adjusted each season to how many points the champion scored?by Stoopid - Grand Prix 4
On third thoughts your system is a whole lot easier to work out But I dont see how any one could end up with a perf lower than the base with the W300 formula. W300 winners got twice as many points, they had twice as many point scoring races than the GPGSL, so that formula would have to be adjusted if it was ever used.by Stoopid - Grand Prix 4
I changed my mind Gonna read the w300 site nowby Stoopid - Grand Prix 4
