@Gildoorf, I used to use Paint Shop Pro (I think Corel brought Jasc and so Paint Shop Pro became corel photo paint), but since i've learnt photoshop over the last few years, I can't go back . And I didn't think i'd have time to do this building, but I figured if you're going to do something I better do It all right Just a few bits to go on the pit buildings, Giby Willb - Grand Prix 4
Thanks guys, I thought it could be pretty interestig, and something to show people who ask for release dates @Gezere I *WISH* i was that fast!by Willb - Grand Prix 4
Just for fun, more coming soon Here's a quick preview into the work I've been doing while creating my Silverstone 2009 update for Grand Prix 4. In this video I'm working on the pit buildings using reference photos I took while at the circuit for the formula Renault race in 2009. This is about an hours work in 4 minutes .by Willb - Grand Prix 4
Hi Gildoorf! Thanks for the file . The new layout is much better than I though it would be, but I still like the old layout too. I think the new layout is almost better because we only really loose bridge and abbey of the old corners and we gain alot more corners and track length - and another straight :Dby Willb - Grand Prix 4
Gildoorf, Can you re-upload the file, Rapidshare won't let me download because apparently it's already been downloaded 10 times . Thanks mate, Willsby Willb - Grand Prix 4

Thanks so much Gildoorf I'll give them a go when i'm back at home working on the track . It is a shame that we didn't think to work on this project earlier, it could have been really great! Still, i'm trying hard to finnish my version as quick as I can for everyone but I just keep finding things to change on it! Annoying. A Also I have some great pics of Race Control buildiby Willb - Grand Prix 4

Hi Guys If any of you are going to / at the grand prix this weekend and are photographers can you take a picture of the glass section of this building for me (highlighted in red)? I need a decent quality texture ! Clicky No really, I'm sorry. As you were ... Thanks!by Willb - F1
I too have heard awful things about orange. My housemate used to be with them and every text he sent would go through at LEAST twice. And other times the text's wouldn't turn up at all. This happened for the entire 18 months of his contract!by Willb - Off-Topic

Gav, I think you are Right, perhaps now they will ditch windows defender, and start shipping pc's with MSE. As for updates all I can say if Avast updates its definitions every day (and I have know it to do two updates in one day!), as for how quickly the new viruses are included in those def's - I've no idea. Anyway I will give MSE a shot. Perhaps ill do a fun little test with twoby Willb - Off-Topic
Isn't MSE just a re-branded and *slightly* improved OneCare? At least that's what I've read...? Edit: Actutally after some reading MSE looks to be pretty good. Good detection rates and low on resources. I'll have ti give it a try sometime. Some interesting comparisions on AVComparitives here. Not going to lie, I queued for iPhone 4. Albeit in a que of 10 people at at Tesco extra at 8:30am :D. Love the phone, few niggles as the world and his dog has picked up on, but the display is gorgeous, and the camera is the best I've seen on a phone - coming from an iPhone 2g it's just *awesome*.by Willb - Off-Topic
@Turbo Lover - :D. I'll save all the issues up and ask for help in one go. Hopefully least distraction for you . Ta Mate And thanks for the comments guys . Love the trend you started ISaint :D!by Willb - Grand Prix 4
@J i m - Obviously you have a comfortable job and can afford to go the Grand Prix, many of us cannot afford this luxury year on year . And The idea of mingling with possibly famous people is pretty cool. To be honest though, I really don't know why you bothered reading the thread if you weren't interested in the work. The thread title pretty much gives you a good idea of what may have bby Willb - F1
Jim you might not, but for some of us this could be a great opportunity. I'm quite interested it just depends what work I have on next week.by Willb - F1
Hi Guys, To those who have been testing, please could you report any issues / incorrect parts of the track. Things I knwo about: - Fosters & Siemens logos in pitlane. - Agip ad after Copse (Already changed for the new Voda ad) - Old vodafone style logos (thanks SchueyFan) these are being updated - Rear side advert of gantry at Vale (now changed to Lenovo + ThinkPad logo as peby Willb - Grand Prix 4
Hi SchueyFan, I don't have track specific wad's enabled so it's just using the "cars.wad" file. Any other ideas ?by Willb - Grand Prix 4
Hi Mortal, Unfortunately it's not as easy as that. I haven't actually "installed" GP4 for many many years . I always just copy my GP4 folder and tweaker dll's to any new system / folder on current system because then i can just transport my whole install really easily. This has always worked, but i just cant seem to get this new wad working. The problem is to use the wby Willb - Grand Prix 4

Hi Everyone I've very kindly been given a new cars/anim.wad/gp4.exe + gp4tweaker settings by a fellow community member, however i'm having a few issues gettng it going. I cloned my GP4 folder and renamed it to GP4 2007, then i named the new folder "Grand Prix 4". I copied the new wad's, exe and ini's but i get a crash on loading a circuit. I think the problemby Willb - Grand Prix 4

Thanks for the update and praise Isaint I don't believe the flickering to be caused by my circuit, as I have the same thing with my API 4870, as noted in this thread. It also happens on other tracks for me but perhaps some less notably (It seems really distant objects suffer most and with Silverstone there are many straights with a view of far objects.) Hopefully soon ill discover whatby Willb - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for the heads up SchueyFan, Noted I'll sort asapby Willb - Grand Prix 4
Isaint and Fast, what Graphics cards do you run. @Isaint, i see you have similar flickering issues as I do (in one of yuor last screens the catch fence appears infront of tyre wall/guardrail and top of grandstands aren't smooth like they should be etc.), are you running an ATI card? And damn, amazing screens all, lovely BMW ColdBlood too .by Willb - Grand Prix 4
