Hi Guys,

To those who have been testing, please could you report any issues / incorrect parts of the track. Things I knwo about:

- Fosters & Siemens logos in pitlane.
- Agip ad after Copse (Already changed for the new Voda ad)
- Old vodafone style logos (thanks SchueyFan) these are being updated
- Rear side advert of gantry at Vale (now changed to Lenovo + ThinkPad logo as per 2009)
- Missing bridgestone small signs under Bridge corner bridge (Now added)
- Incorrect colour of concrete making up the sides of hanger straight bridge (now fixed)

I also may need some help sometime soon (Turbo, if your there ;)) as I'm having some difficulty with objects not appearing from certain views (also some weird clipping on a new TV screen I added).

Here's two new previews just for fun ;-)

Thanks guys :)
Wills

This is looking great, do you have plans to add the new construction of the new pit lane?

I have been running laps at the 2008 track pack version of Silverstone, and notice the bug where AI cars exiting the pits slow just before they merge onto the racing line. Has this bug been fixed on this great new look version?

Hi Shep, Unfortunately this isn't a problem with the 2008 version, its a problem since the 2001 version. There is something up with the .dat which I haven't looked into yet, if anyone knows how to fix it I'd love to know as this bug really irritates me too.

Thanks,
Wills

Dear Willb

It´s a shame we from F1 Virtual have not yet released this 2009 silverstone with you as one of the main authors included :(

But people are getting graduated and sooner or later we get back on duties :)

Here´s my approach to PitBuilding and glass texture at link

Greetings, congratulations on very good job so far, and let´s not give up on making brand new layout for this magic grand prix :)

Thanks so much Gildoorf I'll give them a go when i'm back at home working on the track :). It is a shame that we didn't think to work on this project earlier, it could have been really great! Still, i'm trying hard to finnish my version as quick as I can for everyone but I just keep finding things to change on it! Annoying. A

Also I have some great pics of Race Control building if you want them when I get back to my PC. The building changed quite a lot but i'm afraid I won't have the time to recreate this for my version of the track - But you are welcome to the photos :).

Many thanks.

I was just about to make a post about this subject... sorry if I'm hijacking your post here mate.

This Pit Exit bug is SO annoying at Silverstone - has ANYONE ever found a solution to it? I've messed around with the .dat and I just can't fix it at all....

I would love a Silverstone with that fixed! LOL!

WillB - this track looks amazing... I can't WAIT to see it.. awesome stuff.

Gildoorf, Can you re-upload the file, Rapidshare won't let me download because apparently it's already been downloaded 10 times :(.

Thanks mate,
Wills

Hi Gildoorf!

Thanks for the file :). The new layout is much better than I though it would be, but I still like the old layout too. I think the new layout is almost better because we only really loose bridge and abbey of the old corners and we gain alot more corners and track length - and another straight :D

Hi Gildoorf,

could you please check the Download-Link again.

All I get from the rapidshare-link is a small 88kb-file called silverstone2001_page_179.rar
