Gp4 is very strange in terms of loading for me. I play the wonderful 95 mod. Sometimes i start the game through CSM and every time it will take 4 minutes to load a track ( a nightmare for car setup), yet if I turn off my pc and play later it may only take 10 seconds!by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
Thanks, beautiful track, my favouriteby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
Hello everyone I am going to buy a new budget pc to replace my broken laptop, and would love to be able to run GP4 smoothly and quickly on it. I have narrowed my selection down to two I may be willing to purchase Both run on vista and have 512 mb ram (which I could upgrade I hope!) The first one is £300 has intel 3GHz processor but "32 up to 64 mb intel 950 graphics." Integrated I gby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4

Thanks Tim for your suggestion. I first did what savinaclaudio did and reduced the percentage of cc error to 1 in the md file, but then in quali 3 cars went off on their out laps within 30 seconds of each other... I think I will have a crack at editing the cc line instead at the weekend, would be good for me to try to learn how to do it. Unless anybody already has a modified cc line for that tby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
Thanks for your replies guys, will do.by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
So the track I have saved needs me to insert magic data to make it work. So if I want to edit a GP3 file do I need to get first get its magic data, edit the track sections in Track editor, save the new track as a .GP3 file and then reinsert the original magic data into the track file. Is that what to do? Does the Track editor though not read in values from the magic data eg fuel consumption ,trby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
Thanks for your reply. I'm guessing it is not acceptable simply to adjust the cc line by modifying a couple of values in one or two track sections and then save it. What do I need to do with the magic data then if I only want to change one corner of a track. Do I need to modify things within the MD file with Cmagic?by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
Hello there. A while ago I downloaded Marc Aart's Laguna Seca track, (which is the only one I can find). Unfortunately there is a slight cc line bug which means maybe one car every lap will go off at the first corner (annoying when you're battling for the lead). I downloaded Paul Hoad's track editor, and tried to change the line through that corner. (I am a track editing novice,by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
jyce - check your email I sent the files to youby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
Yes I do, I can send you the 96 and 97 ones if you like, with a 97 physics file also. Have edited the performance values to make it a bit more realistic and close in the 97 version. So you'll occasionally get a Jordan, Panis, Stewart etc springing a surprise, which is realistic I suppose. Also have 95, 98 99 if you want. What is your email address?by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
I can't download anything from this section of the website at the moment, is it the same for everyone else? I keep getting the "We have capacity problems, please try again later" message. Does anyone have an idea as to when it could be working again? Thanksby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
I then tried it again through GPX patch with verbosity set to medium (whatever that means) and the same thing happened when I pressed Esc in the pits. However the log is different this time, and seems to mention my sound configuration. Again, any help would be very much appreciated Starting log GPxPatch version: 3.91 GPx version detected: decrypted GP3-2000 Verbosity level is 1 OS versionby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
I've just got the 2000 addon for GP3. It runs fine except that when I want to exit a gameplay screen, (ie in car or in the pits), instead of loading the subsequent menu it crashes to desktop. I ran GPXpatch in debug mode and this is what it threw up. I would be extremely grateful if anyone could give me any solutions Starting log GPxPatch version: 3.91 GPx version detected: decryptedby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3

Well I've been looking around on the internet and saw conflicting reports on the safety car. Was it ever included in any patch/ GP3 2000?by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
Well I heard GP4 is a bit arcadey, but anyway I would have no chance of running it on my thinkpad! The GP3 demo works a dream though. One question, is the safety car a 2000 feature, or is the safety car in GP3 as well?by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
Would you guys recommend it? I'm awaiting a copy of Grand Prix 3, and have downloaded various editors and patches for it already, as I won't have any internet access when I go back home in a few days for the summer. To me it seems like GP3 2000 might be a bit of a pain to patch, but all I really want is to be able to choose from the '95, '96 and 97 carsets and be able to editby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
Well thanks anyway guys, I might ask in a new threadby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
Hi there. I would be very grateful if you could send me the 1996 carset too please. I'll message you my email address. Was a 1997 carset ever made as it was my favourite season of all time? Thanksby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 3
