you get that message because you obviously don't have .net 6.0 installed mod might be buggy if you don't run it through the launcher.by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
in the 2020 - 2022 this fix isn't necessary as it is already applied through patch.ini. it must be something else then, especially if you didn't have it before. magic data?by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
nice idea! many people run people GP4 on linux and wine. i tried it myself and it works just fine. try to add the d3d8to9 converter to your GP4-folder, maybe that helps (like that the game runs on dx9 - make sure to select "all" in gpxpatch CPU options):by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
really weird. only thing i can think off is a full deinstallation of zaz tools, delete all files, reboot, delete the registry files (!), reboot again and then install it again. also add an exception in windows defender to the folder where gp4 and zaz tools are installed (in my case thats c:\infogrames). i doubt that will help but at least it's worth a try.by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
Huge job, thank you very much! those who want to use the rest of the AI upscaled tracks, you'll find them here:by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
it is, see here:by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
just to clarify it once again for those who don't want to go through the whole thread: THERE IS NO VIRUS IN ZAZ TOOLS! Some anti-virus softwares give a false alarm. This is most likely because CSM can run external scripts (like batch-files) or even execute external executables (you could in theory execute a virus from a mod, but there are no known mods who do this). Second: csm.exe aby Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
there is no virus in it. some people get that message since i updated the installer with zaz tools 1.27c.by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
amazing job, thank you very much!by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
you can disable it in f1graphics.cfgby Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
i don't know it either since I never had any issues why don't you try it?by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
As i wrote above: to run the game you must: a) either have a physical cd/dvd-drive or; b) mount any iso (like the iso from the installer or any other iso)by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
I'm using a Fanatec CSL Elite F1 (it's a bit older already, 2018 oder 2019 maybe) and never faced any issues. I just did the usual calibration in GP4 and it worked. Just had to set the FFB at ~40% because else it would be way too hard. However, there are several Fanatec Apps where you can change some settings of your device, like the degrees of rotation, etc. Maybe you'll find anyby Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
yeah! huge job! thanks a lot!by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
just run the steps as shown in the installer. gpxpatch and zaz tools are optional but highly recommended if you want to install mods. to run the game you must: a) either have a physical cd/dvd-drive or; b) mount any iso (like the iso from the installer or any other iso)by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
Huge work diego, thank you a lot!by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
apparently it's also blocking my 7zip-work-around. until i find another solution to provide the file, you can download my GP4 installer which contains zaz tools 1.27c.by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
link should be working again (it's a 7zip now). don't mind the warning, there is no virus. false detection is a common problem with zaz tools.by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
I've updated the installer with the latest version of ZaZ Tools (1.27c). Same link, first post.by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
thank you a lot, Ariel! Great work!by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
No need to thank me guys, all i did was uploading the new file. Meteoro and Ronald did the work. @superman77m: i doubt this is related to csm itself because all CSM does is executing a file (like the batch-file in that case). might be related to some windows settings or so, but i'm no expert here.by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
ZaZ Tools is now updated to version 1.27c. Link in the first post. Thanks to Meteoro405 for pointing out a problem with the PreExecute variable and to Ronald for fixing it! I've also added an archive of all previous versions of ZaZ Tools (at least the ones I still had on my computer). The link is also in the first post.by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
Huge work again Kev, thank you very much!by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
I recently noted that on some WIP-screenshots there is a cockpit shown which is much more detailed than the version that was actually released. You can see in the image below that there were textures for both the floor of the cockpit as well as the parts on the side where the damage indicator and the led-lights are located. However, the version of the cockpit that was released came with out tby Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
i've been using these tweaked dll's a while ago already in my mods. however, to get the best experience you need an external sound blaster sound card which is compatible with Create Alchemist. personally i'm using this device:by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
Have you ever wondered what is known about the XBOX version of Grand Prix 4? Well, I've taken some time (a few nights without sleep, to be honest) and compiled everything I could find out about it into this report: https://fongugp4.blogspot.com/2023/10/the-story-of-xbox-version-of-grand-prix.html (Fongu was kind enough to post it on his blog). You can download the report as a PDF hereby Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
this is just an AI upscaled version of the video i posted. it existed in high resolution and i'm looking for that fileby Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
Hello everyone, I'm looking for the video they are talking about here. I do have a low-res 3mb version of it (here: ), but obviously there was a 46mb version in better resolution. If anybody still has it somewhere, i'd be very grateful if it could be shared here! Thanks a lot (the file was named "gp4fin.exe" but all of the old servers where it was stored are down)by Carl_gpgames - Grand Prix 4
