Grand Prix 4 Installer [new alternative installer added]

It says its a trojan called wacatac

there is no virus in it. some people get that message since i updated the installer with zaz tools 1.27c.

I am trying to install the game, however it is giving me the please insert CD ROM error message. I cannot find the ISO, or \Data\Patch file to insert the no-cd workaround. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello there, I'm having problems with this installer and i have no idea why because i've followed the instructions as close as possible but whatever i try i keep getting an error message saying "Generic application error. Enable debug output for detailed information. This sample will now exit"

It's really starting to test my patience as i've been a this for about 3-4 hours now and have got nowhere but i've had the game installed and playing before so i know it works on my PC.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

EDIT: Removed an old install of GP4 I must have tried to install ages ago.... GP4 installer worked great.

- Delete any previous install attempts from X86 programs folder.

Could be wishful thinking.... Any way of setting or configuring a higher resolution than 1600x1200?

no wishful thinking. open f1graphics.cfg in your main gp4 directory and enter your prefered resolution. any 4k res works great.

btw; do not install gp4 to the program files folder. use c:\infogrames\grand prix 4 or c:\grand prix 4 instead.

Oh my goodness, thankyou... works great at 3440 x 1440.....No more keyhole driving

My favorite F1 game - reinvigorated, I defintely prefer this Geoff Crammond version compared to the newer F1 games.
