What happend to the beta-version of the original GP4 cockpit?

I recently noted that on some WIP-screenshots there is a cockpit shown which is much more detailed than the version that was actually released.
You can see in the image below that there were textures for both the floor of the cockpit as well as the parts on the side where the damage indicator and the led-lights are located.
However, the version of the cockpit that was released came with out those textures and it even looks like the indicators and leds are somehow "hovering" in the air.
I checked the mapping of original cockpit shape to see if there are any textures missing, but it doesn't look like that at all.
Maybe they just packed an early cockpit version by mistake? I don't know and neither do i have any further information on this topic. It's just something i recently noted and thought it might be of interest.
