Update: I've got the basic template for all cars started and did a little bit of work to Jaques Laffite's car. It's not complete though. I just got it started so it's still missing some graphics but here it is! Note: For the time being I'm using helmets from other carsets, but I plan on creating my own helmets which will be add-free designs. Not to mention that nonby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Thanks! I've been exited about this series ever since I first heard about it almost a year ago. I missed the inagural 2005 Kyalami race but I hope to be able to watch as many races as I can in 2006. There is still a lot of work to be done but I hope to have it completed before the end of the year.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
So with the coming of the GP Masters series, I've started working on a GP Masters Carset. Here is a screen shot of the first Car that is close to completion. For comparison, here is the actual GP Masters car drven by Nigel Mansel. GP Mastersby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
OK, here is my WSRC Porsche Livery in GP3. Still needs a little bit of work with some logo placing though.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Great liveries guys! GP3 still looks good after all these years! I've been working on my own GP3 Team Porsche livery derived from my GP4 livery, in the WSRC 2005 season. (See sig pick) I'll post some screenshots when I'm done!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
One race! Three drivers! One goal! With the closing of the inagural 2005 WSRC season, Melbourne, is anything but just another race! The final battle between Brian Glanville, Hernqiue Rocha and Diogo Vincenzi, has been set. In a contest of domination! The quite, before the storm, has just begun! 900 hosrepower virtual machines will soon be awoken from their slumber and a 2005 WSRC World Champioby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4

I'll look again, but I did see those tracks on this site. And yes, I found Jerez on abcdfg's web site. thanks for that info!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Thanks ST.hubbins! My memory is a bit rusty from those years. Do you know where I can find a correct Phoenix and Silverstone track? EDIT: OK! Never mind. I found abcdefg's website. There are lots of tracks there.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
I've also found a couple of 1989 carshapes, of which one will be chosen for the mod. One is genereic and the other is the McLaren. I'm still looking for a physics set for 1989 as the closest I have is a 1990 physics set. I also have not seen a track map set for 1989 as well. I'm looking into creating that part myself as well as compiling all of the video fottage I can get, from thaby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
JackiMatra, that's what I've been researching! I was going to be contacting you about using your 1989 backgrounds for this mod. I had a track pack in mind that I was going to contact the creator of, for their permission to use their 1991 track pack and fill in the missing tracks with the individual ones I've found on various websites. I think all I need to do is replace three trackby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Well, I'm not talking about making the cars! I want to create an all inclusive installation, specifically geared towards 1989. having been around sim racing for a long time, I've found that some people, still hate to use the tools that are required to install everything into GP3. Yes, I know that carsets have been made for practically every season of F1 and as well, there are carshapesby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
So I've decided to focus on putting together a complete 1989 mod for GP3. This will no doubt take a little bit of time but I've always wanted to do this.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Nice work! I think there is also an early nineties carshape that would would make the livery look more like the real car. Once I find it, on my multitude of CD packed with GP3 stull, I'll upload it to Gp3 and post an in game shot!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
mimo Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > 90 to 94 season already exits, but 90 season not > exits backmakers. Getting back to this! That's not really true! I have a an entire 1990 carset, created by someone going by the name "Widow," that i download from this site.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Here are the latest revisions on the rules: (Subject to The Driver's Council Approval) Registration Rules: A Maximum of 11 teams can enter the WSRC with no more then 2 drivers. 1 driver cannot drive both cars. ===================================== Regulations: This Championship is intended for those using WSRC 2006 Carset, which will be available for download as soon as it iby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
So it looks more and more like we might be using a 15% quick race format for 2006! Drivers will still need to submit one free practice lap, for their qualifying run, just as they do this year.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4

The WSRC Japanese GP in review! It was a heated battle from begining to end! Rocha took off with Vincenzi close behind him, battling it out lap after lap with the closest gap being a mere 4 tenths of a second! Meanwhile, Finlay King and Glavnille started off in that order. Finlay started to pull away early and King lost position to Glavnille midway through the race. A lap later, King would losby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
Yeah, the physics is all you really need to worry about and just bare in mind that everyone is using 900 bhp this season!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
Zeppelin! That is quite fast for Montreal! WOW! YOu got a hotlap of that time?I'd like to view that lap!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
See, it's not really that bad! It doesn't take a ton of laps to get a decent laptime! There is only a few guys who really dig deep and run a ton of laps to fine tune their settings. Most of us do no more then 30 or 40 laps at most. Most of the time i have my carset up within 20 laps. I can admit that I'm not as thorough as say, Vincenzi or Rocha, but they are, afterall, the lap hby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4

Zeppelin, I wouldn't throw in the towel just on that basis. As I said. Next year things are going to be a bit different as everyone will be mandated to use the 2006 Carset and thus everyone will be using the exact same GP4 data.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
Is there anyone up for the hardcore challenge of the WSRC? It's really a lot of fun!!! It's a chance to become the "WSRC World Champion!" This year that name could Be, Brian Glanville of Ireland, Henrique Rocha of Brazil, or Diogo Vincenzi of Brazil. Who is it going to be next season?by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
Fair enough!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
I don't ever do that many laps myself! Of course I'm not one of the to drivers either! It's mostly for fun! Don't let that number deture you. Don't forget that there is usually a two week gap betwen races, so there is lots of time to configure setups for the next race.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
You would not believe the amount of hours these guys put into getting their cars set to perfection! Some of these guys will put in upwards of 150-200 laps before the race. I've verrified their hotlaps. In Season 2006 we are going a bit further with the rules by creating a CSM Carset to further manage the files that the user are able to use. With checksums in place.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
