er I dunno. Is it any of these? btw, how come ferrari appear to have lost their marlboro sponsoring in America? They did allow tobbacco sponsors, as the other cars had them, so it caused me to wonder. Crap track though - all the corners are so uniform But then Indy is even worse! How can anyone enjoy that kind of thing, it is just a big big circle. What skill does that take?!by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
probably about 5, calimbo I would pay you more for it but nm it is over now :Dby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
Hmm I mean the race commentary bit with pictures - it only seems to be available for the current race and not the previous onesby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
Lopper, is it possible to view the pictures from previous races? Or do you only host the current race pictures? If space is a trouble, there are plently of free hosts that offer a lot of space Also, what season are you running? To me, it looks like 2003, however it says 2004 at the top. WTF? :Dby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
Hmm I don't have all the other sets of drivers. If you could send me the modena profile or something that would be helpful to see if I can check it out. Do you have ICQ or MSN or anything?by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
Oh yer, and can races actually be red flagged in GP3? There is the red flag on the dash so I assume so. However I thought they could in GP2 but they can't They list all those flags in the manual and then don't use most of them.by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
ah, thanks about the tyre thing - I will try it. How do I get rid of the dar setup menu thing at the bottom though, that shows plank and tyre wear? It is annoying Does anyone have any ideas about my pad also? And I can't find the real 1998 season patches and JV patch :-/ All the patches I find seem to be for GP3 2000by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
Yer, I don't remember much about the season as I say :D From what I remember, it was a really exiciting season. I would raise more issues, but I can't really remember :D About the Jaques Villeneuve thing, yer, I would have thought as much, as in every F1 game I have seen he has been fake. In the diabolical World Grand Prix on the N64 he is called Driver Williams :D (I hate that gaby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
Ok, I've set up my Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Power 3 pad to work with GP3 (Don't have a wheel, well I do but it's a really crap destiny one from around the times of GP2, and is utterly useless). It works fine however I can't get the pad to do functions such as pause the game and change camera etc. I have set the buttons on the pad to do the appropriate keyboard inputs, usingby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
What do you mean "can't play"? ANyway, I found out why - look at my topic Here to see. Basically, GP3 hates anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering, so turn those off and it should run fine. Basically, create a profile for GP3 with both of those things off.by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
Hmm, have you sent it to me, if so it may have got caught up in spam and so I deleted by mistake. If you have sent it then try again. If not then please send itby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
OMG it works fine now. Guess what the problem was? I was about to give up on the game completely - I had uninstalled it and then something dawned on me to try because it may ust work - and it did Well I did a search on simracing forums to see if anyone had the same problems and I couldn't find any solutions. However, someone said in one post that GP3 really hates Anisotropic filteriby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
yer, I tried to run in win 98 compatability but it wont start up and gives me an errorby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
er, but can't you only have one carshape for all the cars? so this well make all the other cars look stupid :D Or am I wrong and there is a way to have multiple?by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
yer, cos if you think about it, steering help is really needed if you don't have a analogue means of control. Although, iirc you could turn it off in GP2 even without a analogue means of steering? I may be going crazy though and that may not be true :D can't rememberby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
DO you have XP by any chance? as that is around the FPS I get (I have not tried practise). I think it could be XP limiting the FPS or something dodgy like thatby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
Can I have it, dan.knott at ntlworld dot com ty. It may sort out my slowdown problems you see, although I very much doubt it, but it's worth a try :-/by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
ah yer, er I didn't know, (couldnt remember) but I did that dxdiag thing and its AMD 2700. I also have 512MB of RAM. iirc it is DDR RAM. Manual configuration? But that would mean turning the settings down to put less strain on the pc. I have tried that but it doesnt really make a difference too much. Software mode works ok, but I may as well play GP2 if I am playing in software mode. Mby Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
So, No one can help me? :'by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
When it tests for my graphics in GP3, it does the first 2 resolutions and then crashes the game. Also, the game runs incredibly slow, at 8 FPS. This is rediculous. I have an ATI Radeon 9500 pro, an ASUS A7N8X motherboard and lots of RAM etc I also have XP I heard that XP could be the problem? I tried setting it to Windows 98 compatability, but it won't run the game at all then (by Daniel Knott - Grand Prix 3
