While I don't browse this forum so much anymore, i do agree with the point of decent discussion, some of the larger forums just get over run by fan boys and deluded idiots. This forum seems to have generally neutral and fair viewpoint towards most drivers. I also agree that Andrew Benson is an idiot, he can't even retweet on twitter properly. Most of BBC's team are a bit dense tby matt3454 - F1
I never thought a fat man sitting on a toilet could produce such a cliff hanger but breaking bad managed it!by matt3454 - Off-Topic
sounds like a toilet pass. (not at all jealous!)by matt3454 - F1
Force India looks the best so far. Giedo van der Garde has been given the second Caterham seat, can't say he impressed me too much during GP2 this season, whereas Luiz Razia looked consistently decent and Max Chilton looked quite good on occasions (Singapore feature race I think was particular highlight).by matt3454 - F1
As much as I'd love to say Alonso, the feeling of him out performing the car faded in the last third of the season. The only other true benchmark of your performance as usual is your team mate, and in the last third of the season I felt that Massa out paced Alonso alarmingly consistently. I can't remember the all the races off hand but from what I remember Massa would have finished highby matt3454 - F1
Vettel had a quarter of the grid on his side today, still a great drive, how his suspension didnt break is remarkable! senna pretty much confirmed at caterham as well.by matt3454 - F1
So that's vettel with his third championship. At least that saves me waking early next weekby matt3454 - F1

2012 Belgian Grand Prix: Spa Francorchamps Length: 7.004 km (4.352 mi) Turns: 20 Lap record: 1:47.263 (Germany Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull, 2009) Sorry to start it over two weeks early but im so excited to be going to belgium again I thought Id start a thread! After going last year with my dad for my first grand prix I thought id go again this year but with 4 mates! Shouldby matt3454 - F1

All the roads would need resurfacing for a grand prix. The track is uninspiring and crucially enough.... This was announced just hours after that german banker was jailed in the eccelstone bribery case. Coincidence? No. Just a massive cover up.by matt3454 - F1
I like the concept of drs, but I think the zones need to be a lot smaller, so a driver who is side by side can a slight advantage when on a dirtier side. With all the marbles at the moment a driver on the dirty side will have to brake a lot earlier, a small drs zone may compensate this. Canada and belgium should hopefully compensate this. Id also like to see drs in a more tradtional place like thby matt3454 - F1
Incident 2k9 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I always feel empty inside every time Vettel gets > pole... Same, I think its because the chances of an entertaining race at the front drop to almost 0. he'll have a 3s lead by lap 3 then just stay there til the end of the race.by matt3454 - F1
Vettel got lucky at turn 1 and in regards to cutting the corner and ending up infront of kimi, if he got stuck behind kimi his afternoon would have been ruined.by matt3454 - F1
Amazing drive from Maldonaldoby matt3454 - F1
Im not sure what the rules are but I would have thought stripping his last time would be more sensible. Absolutely rediculous decision.by matt3454 - F1
I went Belgium last year as my first ever F1 race and really enjoyed the visit, this year im going with 4 mates and were renting a little house thing for the weekend at roughly £200, and £40 each makes it cheaper than most hotels. Hopefully drive the old Nurburgring on the Monday as well. Should be a nice little eurotrip . Hopefully next year will visit a different track or two, Silverstone haby matt3454 - F1
on a 2012 note, my GA tickets for the belgian gp have arrived! woop woop!!!by matt3454 - F1
Schumacher seems far too laid back at times to me, which is understandable as he has almost nothing to prove. Things like this could fire him up big time (or have the opposite effect).by matt3454 - F1
Vettel showed his class again today, webber was back to his 2011 form as well, 20 odd seconds off vettel. Lotus threw this race away tbh, kimi spent too long behind grosjean and a lap too long before his last stop.by matt3454 - F1
Really wanted a kimi win . can't stand vettelby matt3454 - F1
I think the Karthikeyan and Vettel incident have blame for both parties. Karthikeyan shouldn't really have twitched at the moment, but Vettel should have allowed more room as he lapped him while Karthikeyan was was correcting a mistake on the double right hander. Really shows the difference in maturity between Seb and Schumacher though, as TV isn't the best place to be name calling oby matt3454 - F1
Karthikeyan has come out and called Vettel a cry baby haha. He has got a point!by matt3454 - F1
they sound like gokarts in that video.by matt3454 - F1
Gutted i miss this, start back at work at 9am this Sunday . Hoping for another Mclaren win, although I would be happy with anyone other than a redbullby matt3454 - F1
Also i feel the pairing of James Allen and Alguersuari is a stronger partnership than Edwards/Coulthard on the BBC. I'll probably be hated for that opinion but i do think Allen is a decent commentator.by matt3454 - F1
Cracking race, awesomely controlled drive from Jenson. Most the cars seem fast in different phases of the race. Mclaren and Redbull seem consistently quick. Lotus, Sauber, Mercedes, Ferrari and Williams seem quick enough to at least all challenge for P5 in the race if the front two teams don't retire.by matt3454 - F1
thats vettels race thenby matt3454 - F1
I watched a brief bit of the BBC coverage to see how it compares, and i can't help but think its part of a season review when Edwards speaksby matt3454 - F1
