I have heard comments over the last few years that the bridgestones are not up to it and that may be the case. but schumacher rarely had problems doing a 1 stop strategy in brazil or other hot locations. i suspect the difference in the tyres may be that the michelins could do the race with no stops if they really wanted to and the bridgestones couldn't. will see what happens in the nextby roadhog - F1
hmm. I would guess b seeing that winning only means something if i felt there was a leval playing field or i was behind to start off with. but then how does one define ruthless determination to win? a) single focus on winning that supercedes everything else to maximise your talent by doing all the work necessary. or b) a single focus on winning that means breaking every rule you know and dby roadhog - F1
"For a law to exists you need a sovereign authority which emanates the rules and who has the power to enforce them." er no you dont. all you need is a mechanism by which laws are stated. laws dont need to be enforced, to be still considered laws. Usually some force will decide it has control over a region and impose rules on those living or interacting with that region. there are plby roadhog - Off-Topic

hmm admittedly i dont really remember much if any head to head testing between mclaren and ferrari last year. aren't ferrari still using the '02? IIRC from last year testing times, ferrari really never seem interested in setting track records just test the componenets and then unleash on race day when it matters. The real problem with mclaren last year was 50hp, if illmor can fix thaby roadhog - F1
hmm mclaren were setting fairly good times last year as well. odds on certainty for a ferrari one two this year as well. I reckon the shoe will win it with 3 rounds to spare. third might be interesting as williams haven't really produced a good car since newey left.by roadhog - F1
>>> 1) Ralf Schumacher Williams BMW michelin 2) Nick Heidfeld Sauber Petronas bridgestone 3) Juan Pablo Montoya Williams BMW michelin 4) Rubens Barrichello Ferrari Ferrari bridgestone <<< you have got to be kidding a petronas engine beating a ferrari engine? only if the ferrari dosen't finish. I reckon barrichello will re-sign. better 2nd driver in a 1st string team than 1st driver in crap team. though villeneuve and schumacher in the same team would be very interesting. won't happen with todt in charge though. as far as JV in mclaren depends how kimi goes. be damned good to see but. JV,MS,JPM all head to head fantastic. i don't think mika will come back but if he does heby roadhog - F1
