Yeah, both the 360 or the PS3 controllers will work on a PC with the proper drivers. Microsoft itself has an official driver for the controller and it works fine. With me the only issue was that it flipped the shoulder buttons around but I had full 0-100% pressure.

That's a good idea.
I have both PS3 and PC.
But due to the PC version only costing £20 I have pre-ordered the PC version this time around, I know there will be a lack of people playing this version online.
Maybe if I do like the game and it ends up being the simulation I crave then I might also eventually buy the PS3 version.

It looks like I'll be buying a console again mainly for this. I'm edging towards the PS3 though.

Anyone from the UK found a cheap place to pre-order the PS3 version?
Everywhere I been is around £37.95, would get the PS version but at double the price of the PC version just isnt worth it.

someones done a comparison video, but the interesting thing is that during the weekend of the gamescom, the cheif games designer ( steven hood) twittered that they'd broken the wet weather function ( dunno how) but on the forum today he's said that the full wetness wasn't coming through properly so it was easier to drive in the wet than it should be. but it has now been fixed

hes also said that the new physics update has been added now, and they wont be adding anything else now as its too late, so at least they've sorted out the wet weather and improved the physics.

There were rumours that there would be the finished article on show at Spa this weekend, but it hasn't been confirmed by Steven Hood, although the guys are atttending the Grandprix so who knows? could be a suprise for the fans of the game in store!

would be good to finally find out how it will drive etc after the beta videos at the Gamescon

@LS

If they took the hud away from F12010, it would be hard to tell it was a game.

The lighting effects are fantastic.

And you could even be forgiven thinking the horrible driving in what we know is the game, could actually be Schumacher driving a RedBull ;)!

Looks like I'll be buying this game twice on the PS3, one I'll send to my dad so he can have some fun.

Edit: Looks like my Momo won't be supported on the PS3 :(

You quit the Uncharted session as I proceeded to kick butt ;). My laptop barely handles rF thanks to my Nvidia card freezing everything, no more PC gaming for me unless it's the old stuff I already own.

video of the press interview part of the game, ( 5 live presenter Holly Samos is in it for some reason)

Also Steven Hood tweeted this earlier today since the physics update

Just been lapping some of the circuits in Heavy Rain. It's much more unsettled now, getting on the power has the back stepping out - fun!
