it's more important than you seem to realise.
the perfect F1 sim would be achieved by having a complete immersion in what you're doing by having every detail - from the handling, to the graphics - as real as possible. the problem is that it only takes one thing to be crap - the graphics, the handling, the AI, the damage - and the whole illusion vanishes before your eyes and you're just back to playing a game.
when i hit the wall coming out of the final turn in montreal, i want to see the suspension collapse inwards, i want to see scuff marks on the wall and i want to see shattered endplates ricocheting across the tarmac.
i don't want to see wheels and suspensions and front wings bouncing off in huge chunks, i don't want to see debris bouncing along forever, and i don't want to see cars cartwheeling after hitting a piece of carbon fibre.
it's as important as anything else, and it's been hideously neglected to this very day
and, (EDIT), GRID is @#$%& shite.
everyone here will hate it (although still buy it). but it will sell to the masses. such is life.
