I've heard rumours that it will be MMO, I hope not, if the online mode was the main part of the game it would be full of other people and just be stupid, it'd be a crazy melee of people attacking each other.

so I'm hoping they keep the general format the same as the GT3 series. I'm interested to see what the graphics look like, its based on the graphic engine rockstar used for their table tennis game. Also I want to see where its set as I've read rumours about Atlanta, London, Tokyo or even set in the future.

Lets hope the game will be better than its predecesors...GTA SA sucked big time(without the real car mods), the grafix were terrible. Oh, and hopefully i won't need an alien config. pc to play it.

you play some kind of russian arabian type guy, coming straight off the plane/boat/train? set in new york, lots more npc's around, real time lighting, (day to night, real shadows etc...)

look's gorgeous, not quite the photorealism i had hoped, but still very much next gen!

looks alot more gritty, so no jumping from rooftop to rooftop turning on big boob lights, or base jumping, looks like its going to be a really mature version of gta, if that exists

Man, I can't work out if thats render or ingame, it has render qualities but the roughness of ingame (The characters face) This game will be so cool!

looks nice! Love the GTA games, I know a few who haven't liked them since they went 3d but they still float my boat. I remember the first one...it was cool 'coz you could put the cd into your car cd player and it would play the soundtrack!

SORRY!

SA was enjoyable, but they made it too big for the engine and had to decrease detail. So it suffers on that end. VC hit the spot in my opinion.

This new incarnation of Liberty City looks amazing, I like the colors, dirty style. Also looks like they try to stay in the same "Canon-Universe" seeing already known Brands (Sprunk, Burger Shot). So much for the graphics, however the gamemodes are still unknown.

alot of threads at the awful awful GTAFORUMS site are whinging about the russian guy, and how they feel its ruined the series. others are whinging about how it is set in liberty city. personaly, i dont really mind i thought Liberty city was the best city out of all the 3d games. and the character? pfft if it was an american like claude or tommy or even CJ itll be much of the same, this way they can manouver the story alot, russian mafia anyone?

Sam, that first one is Saints row :p It even says it in the file name lol.

The GTA-games are just amazing to play them at time and then leave them for a month and pick it up later and continue. I usually finish one game, when the next is released. Timing works all the time.
