Wohow! I ordered 3 hotwheels models.. 1:18 Renault R25, 1:18 Williams FW26, 1:8 Ralf Schumacher helmet (year 2000) *happy* :P

Wouldnt have bothered but I ordered Renault R25 nose in scale of 1:6 from that same shop and idea about paying almost as much for post as for model did feel stupid..
So 3 hotwheels models for about 25€ and whole pack for about 50€. :)

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

They said the 2007 models would be made with new tooling, I think those new tooling is even more rubbish then the previous ones, looks like how more models they make how more poo, while the quality of autoart and minichamps etc. gets only better.

If THAT's the new tooling, I'd like to know what the old one was!

Wheres the best place to get models from?

Ive just started my collection with two cheap models off ebay (Minichamps: Salo(Toyota) and Verstappen (Arrows)) but i dunno, i dont want to pay £20 for a 2nd hand 1:18 model's off ebay. Has anyone got any tips on getting good deals, i remember a few toy shops used to sell them but that was ages ago. Not looking for any particually models, just ones post 2000 (unless is Hakkinens 99 car :D)

Ebay is pretty much easiest and cheapest way to get those.. Got new 04 Williams and 05 Renault together for less than 30€.

Atleast in here prices of 1/18 models are just sick. If you are lucky enought to find those then prices are +65€. Once I did get (NEW) EJ10 from Neste Rally for "just" 20€ (they were asking for 30€) but sure it was already 6 years old model and only so cheap one in there.

Flea markets might be what you are looking for but you need tons of luck. I did find only 1 model till now. 1/43 Onyx Sauber C 13 of Karl-Wendlinger for 6,60€. :P

I remember looking around a good 5 or so years ago when i had no intrest in models that the prices were relativly cheap. I think i brought a 1:18 scale jaguar back then from woolies for £10. It was hotwheels though but it looked good. Thats been since lost with a lot of other stuff when my younger brother decided to play 'robot wars' with it :(

Does anyone know when the Minichamps 1/18 Hamilton First Win Model is coming out?

It would be nice to have SOME idea of when best part of £60 is going to vanish from my bank account.

We could have all have guesses at this one.
Well its nearly a year since his 1/43 1st podium version was announced and we still havent got that one, even though the standard 1/43 cars have been available for some time. All it is going to be is a change of packaging, so why is this taking them so long?

Personally I think we will see it around October this year earlist. I wont be surprised if its 2009 really.

I've taken the decision to cancel my order for it. Sure it would have been a nice model to have and it would have been worth a lot in the future but financially I don't want to be wondering ooo I wonder wen £60 will be taken out, plus I've gone off buying models for the moment.

So that's all my orders sorted out, next up, cancel my vodafone contract! ;)
