news!!

mclaren have more models!!

this 1:18 lewis model says showcar on the box but it also says mp4/22.
the orginal showcar was the mp4/21 in 2007 colours so.....?

edit: however, i dont think they're released yet :)

Hmm those 1:18s look just like the MP4-21 shape to me..

Edit: It says in the rear of the boxes 'Showcar'... ;-)

how much you guys put money to those model cars (awerage/month or something. lol)?

Also Im interested to buy something from German ebay but knowing costs of post/dhl/etc to Finland (almost 20€/item) have kept me away from getting anything yet.. :P

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

i don't drink (anymore) and have never smoked, so i indulge in model cars instead. there's no fixed monthly budget, if i have the money and want a model, i'll buy it. sometimes i can go for months without buying any, other times i'll buy a lot in a very short space of time, it's completely dependent on what model(s) i'm interested in and how much spare cash i have.

for example i've recently bought and pre-ordered a lot of Lewis models, i've already sold the 3 spare 1:43 Showcars i bought, but i will be receiving a few 1st Win models next year to also sell and hopefully make some profit, which will then probably be spent on a few of his Championship models if he wins it.

Yea. That makes sence. If my wife just wouldnt be so big fan of Jägermeister... lol

I like more to buy some old stuff for cheap price (below 20€) than new ones for bigger amount (over 40€). Btw today I ordered car of legendary "John Newhouse" (Minichamps 1/43, Williams 1998). ;)

lol yeah John Newhouse. I have a Frentzen 1997 Williams 1:43, and the name on the base is just "German Driver" and his helmet is not correct, due to copyright or legal issues or something.

that Mattel MP4-22 looks sooo plastic-y, the nose looks a bit wrong too, although that may be just the slightly different angle in the 2 photos.

my advice, stick to Minichamps as much as you can, they're obviously going to piss all over the Mattel McLarens.

i wouldn't be surprised if they recycle the same figure they already used for the MS 52 Wins F2001 and the Kimi 1st Win McLaren.
