cool, but try to use photograph paper or put some sort of varnish over it, to give it the shiny effect.

nope it's paper alright, but I ain't gonna stick it on ;-)

and the West decals came today, but you can see the old decals through the new ones, so i've decided not to apply them.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

Yep, and it ain't gonna happen ;-) If I remove the current Kimi decals on the BLACK sidepod, when I apply the new West decal on the BLACK sidepod, you'll just see the BLACK through the new West decal. ;) Plsu I ain't taking any kind of dodgy substance to my models, it looks great as Kimi and that's how it will stay. :)

Also, I ordered a 1:18 (Minichamps of course...) K. Raikkonen 2003 MP4-17D today. :) £35, P&P £3.

After that comes, I'll get the MP4-18. ;-) (Already know where I can get that, on sale, for £25.. ;))

you don't remove the whole white/light grey oval shape from the sidepod, you only remove the KIMI lettering from it. the white/light grey paint will remain as the base for your new West decals on the sidepod.

On my model the whole Kimi decal, white and greay parts included, are all the same decal, not paint.

so then remove it carefully by lifting it from the edges, put a thin layer of white or light grey to cover the (black) sidepod, let it dry and then apply the new decal.

you can do it if you put your mind to it.

don't chicken out by being scared of ruining it, you won't.
