that's sweet, I love how its got the rally landscape round it too, great tribute :)

Any Subbuteo fans here? My brother-in-law is a fan of it and collects them. I thought it would be nice to do a team for his birthday and I found out about these blank ones you can buy so I painted him a Liverpool team. I got into it tho and now I've put some on ebay,

Here's a Man Utd one I did last week. Looks a bit @#$%& close up but they're only 2cm high so they're alright when you're not right up close to them :P

Especially the dusty surroundings. ;)

Damn Frantic, even the Lego Ferrari seems already dusty ;)

yeah sheepy, I had a few when I was little but stood on many of them!

Gui: Not exactly sure how the game works, but you have a pitch and have to flick the players round along with a ball that's almost as big as the player :P There are a lot of adults that play it but I just paint them.

hey phil, yeah I'll catch you on msn sometime!

Back to last year, Nic bought one F2008 replica to help us have a more solid view of the car, in thesis it was not needed due the info we gathered from the Ferrari car we could have done without it, but we used it to have an idea of depth then applying the measures we got externally creating a correct version; anyways, when we get acess to many stuff, noticing errors becomes easier, and so we were able to check some things, one relatively easy incongruence for example was the bottom sidepods being red, I've been looking some of the F2008 models around, strangely many of them have the same mistake on that supposed to be black cbfb area; another one more dificult to notice is located generally in the front suspension, usually the first arm is wrong by being incomplete/missing a part, there are some other things or tidbits here and there but in any case that's not the point, what's interesting is to observe how many of the versions reproduce in many cases the same issues, like they are based in a source that contains these exact mistakes, or like one author buys models from the other and reproduce it itself too, etc...

Really want that car ;)

I have that model i think, loved the '97 Benetton.

and finally a pic of the Button Hungary Win model 1:43:

this is a massive disappointment IMO, where's the special graphics on the backing card we were promised, showing a pic of him in the car, or holding the trophy?

all they have done is recycle the same exact driver figure as they used for Sato's BAR005 model:

it took them 2.5 years to repaint a driver figure they already had? the driver fig should have been a new one depicting him in a victory pose with his fist up or index finger extended showing number 1 like he did after the race:

it would have looked great with a figure like this with both arms extended.

RIP Jules, never to be forgotten. #KeepFightingMichael

Anyone interested?

[cgi.ebay.co.uk]

After years of building my collection up, I am finally selling the set. I never did get all 40 of the MSC collection (30/40 aint bad!) and after seeing some of the prices they go for now I probably won't bother. I watched someone sell 23 schumacher msc cars and got almost £2000 in total so I am going to see what I can get for mine. If they don't see for the price I have in mind, I won't be upset to keep them. Infact, a part of me almost wishes they won't have to go! :)

I don't think you can keep them if the price doesn't suit you. If the price is lower than you want, the highest bidder has simply done a fine deal.

Someone made a Brawn GP [cgi.ebay.co.uk]

Looks quite bad tbh.

I wonder what base model he used, as someone asked him. But the seller replied 'Why do you want to know? What kind of role does that play?'.

He asks way too much given the quality of the model.

That's outrageous. That model is highly inaccurate (the whole shape, bargeboards, tyres etc.), and 250 pounds is absurd.
