You'd think so - but you'd probably be wrong.

107 points in a season has been typically only good enough for 3rd place :-o (looked back a few years - it was enough for 3rd in S6 and S5, but would put you 7th in S4...crikey, that season was messed up ;))

A champion usually amasses over 155 points (158 for Matt Houston S4, 160 for Nick van der Voort S5 and 162 for Ed Greenhalgh S6).

Christel VXR complete lineup.

Christel VXR boss Chris Copeman today announced that his team have completed their season 7 lineup by signing rookie test driver Gary Spencer to partner Connor Steer. Copeman commented "I am pleased that The opportunity to bring Gary here arose. This team is all about giving up-and-coming drivers a chance and Gary is just one of those drivers. I look forward to him getting in the car for round 2 of this season".

I disagree. Points only show how long somebody is part of the series...well, basically. So, I like the podium order like it is now. And in the end it's just a gimmick, nothing else.

And I'm wondering the same

I do not see the logic behind it either ... you could have driven in ALL the race, but if you never scored a point you would be 'seen' as a rookie.

If the list is supposed to be in any order, it would be in the order of GP's driven. Other then that I would go for points but driven GP's sound fair, and when an equal number of GPs is done, the one with most points will arise as first

I just knew you lot would argue about which order the table should be in ;)

I have a book about all the F1 GP winners and at the back of the book there is a table of drivers based on wins, just thought it would be nice to do the same thing :)

Ruben, you also have to take into account that you spent your one and only season with TSS, which was the 2nd best car last year

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
Get your lazy ass back in the series !

And not to forget the time you spent as a test driver which resulted in a really good perf when you entered the main series. But despite that all I agree that you're a future championship contender...that is when Ed and Marko are gone one day ;)

I think we should organise a raise fund for the GPGTV crew. Try to get them some proper equipment from after WW2.

Anyone got the final Season 6 mod kicking about? The mediafire links don't work any more :(

Uploading a s6 mod right now!

EDIT: First page now has a valid link for the S6 Race Drivers Mod :)

I've noticed there are a few more dead links though :(

I'm surprised we don't have silent races...oh, yeah, we do. At least it's in colour ;)

GPGSL: S6 - TafuroGP Tester (14th) /// S7 - ART Tester (6th) /// S8 - Demon Driver (13th) /// S9 - Demon/Snake Driver (13th) /// S10 - Snake Driver (???) ///]

Whilst we're waiting (and before I head off to a football match tonight), I figured I'd have a go at making an opening track to the 7th GPGSL season (or at least the first race ;)) (Yes, this is why I was after the Season 6 carset).

Yes, it probably isn't quite as good as the last opening video I did:

Anyway, thoughts? :)
